The Bearaby blanket is stylish and well balanced. But it’s not exactly warm (which you may find to be a good thing), and it’s more cumbersome to wash and dry than our other picks.

Coming in only a small range of throw sizes, the Bearaby Cotton Napper is a little too niche to be our favorite overall blanket, despite scoring highly across the board. This chunky knit napping cover is very soft and cozy feeling. The loose knitting helps it drape more easily across your body, making this blanket feel like it's hugging you all over. Like all knitted blankets, its weight is more evenly distributed across its area and will never pool in areas like a quilted model. Knitted fairly loosely, the Bearaby stretches quite a bit and allows airflow through the yarn &mdash; great when you want to be cozy but don't necessarily need a ton of extra warmth.
While our 5'4" tester loved napping under the Bearaby, our 6' tester found it to be just a little too small for good napping coverage. Since it doesn't come in larger sizes that are more conducive to bigger bodies or being used on beds, this blanket is best for hanging out on the couch and curling up in a comfy chair. Its small size and loose-knit also let it stretch quite a lot, opening holes between stitching that can be rather drafty in the winter. We really love how soft, weighty, drapey, and generally comfortable the Bearaby is, but it's overall a rather niche blanket, best for adding coziness to your couch hang-out time during mild weather.

First off, you want a nice weighted blanket but you sleep hot, the Bearaby Napper should definitely work for you. Again, with this design, there is a lot of room for airflow

 I'm also a fan, though, of this size. Even though this is their largest size, it's still only 48 inches across, so it cocoons my body. It's also a stretchy material. It wraps around my body in a very, very nice way

 Keeping that in mind, you're getting a lot for your money, but it might be outside of some people's price ranges. Lastly, if you want a weighted blanket to fit the size of your bed or you want to use it with a partner, you might want to look elsewhere. The Bearaby Napper, their widest option is going to be 48 inches across. It might not be wide enough for two people

 It's just the cotton woven back and forth upon itself. The weight comes from the material itself. In terms of finding the right weight for you, there are three weight options. They have 15 pounds, 20 pounds, and 25 pounds

The Bearaby Napper has one of the most unique designs I have seen with a weighted blanket. It does not look like your standard weighted blanket, but instead has more of a woven afghan design.

Most weighted blankets make me sleep quite hot at night, but I am sleeping coolly under the Bearaby Napper. The cotton feels cool against my skin, and the construction of the blanket leaves a lot of room for airflow. 

The Bearaby Napper is also a throw-size weighted blanket that is made to fit the size of one sleeper, not the size of a mattress. This weighted blanket is also very stretchy, so I feel like it is hugging my body. 

In addition, it is a massaging weighted blanket. When I move around underneath the weighted blanket, its bumpy surface moves against my skin. The blanket offers not only soothing weight but also a soft massage. 

The Bearaby Napper might not work for those who want a more affordable weighted blanket and those who prefer a more standard design. 

That being said, I was really impressed by the Bearaby Napper!

The blanket it doesn’t have a cover protector like other one so when you need to wash it you need to be really careful. They don’t recommend using the washer so be aware! It could damage it. And definitely no dryer. As it is heavy it’s hard to hang it to dry as it weights almost everything down

 Additionally, every blanket is hand-knit to achieve this large weave effect, which as I said before, allows for lots of breathability. Now the organic cotton used in this blanket is made in green certified by OEKO Techs to have been manufactured in an environmentally friendly facility under safe and socially responsible working conditions.  I would definitely pick evening rose, but I think all the color options are really solid. And finally, this blanket is entirely machine washable, which is a huge pro in my book.  The fabric it's made of is definitely breathable and cool compared to other options. It's a really nice-looking and nicely made blanket, and I'm happy with it and got I got this particular one. I do like it better without the duvet, but again, it make sense to get one to avoid washing it frequently. I haven't yet so I'll have to see how that goes!

 Our bedroom, which is upstairs, is really hot in the summer compared to the rest of the house (no dual zone a/c) so I always go for "cool" materials like bamboo and rayon. The material the blanket and duvet is made of is a very nice quality, and the color is absolutely lovely and as pictured--a steel blue-gray--and by itself, it would be cooling. But as a whole, I did NOT find the weighted blanket itself to be cooling. I kicked it off a number of times this summer before deciding it'll be best to bring it back in the fall

 I weigh about 118 lb and got the 15-lb one, and it was just the right amount. You actually DO get under the thing and feel yourself relax. I've always liked being covered and feel more secure when I sleep or nap, so the concept made sense to me. When it was cooler, I did find that when I woke up, this blanket helped me fall back asleep more quickly and soundly

I did a bit of research on weighted blankets before deciding on this one; I got both the blanket and the duvet after reading that the blanket was a challenge to wash, and that it was easier to just wash the duvet and then wash the blanket itself much less often.
