 Another thing that I did note is that this is a pretty thick training blade now, I'm assuming that. The reason it's done so thick is so that, even if it is a shorter or I'm sorry, a thinner blade, you know if you do miss, you know a particular move that you're learning or something down it does come down on your hand. Again, it isn't sharp, but you know with enough force you might break the skin, but being such a thicker blade, I don't think you're gon na run into that issue. Also the thicker blade

 They actually give you a lot more grip on the handles, because you have those areas where your fingers and your thumb and stuff like that can rest in as you're flipping it and doing whatnot. So there it is again. This is a four inch model, so I'll have it here on my palm as you guys can see, it is very small. So if you do want to carry it or you want to learn new tricks and stuff like that, this is going to be a more compact model, so the locking mechanism down here is not spring-loaded

 Cutlery is made here in the USA and they have this really cool slogan on the side. Right here says we build them tough, we build them right. We build them here. So that was pretty cool to see, so let's go ahead and open it up and we'll take a look at the neck itself

 It'S got some really good weight to it. Yeah, it's pretty nice look a little bit of grease. I guess they put some wd-40 on it beforehand. That'S actually pretty nice and then like, when I thought of a company to be nice enough to do that because normally I read a bunch of reviews saying this is pretty tight

 So what I've heard before these things are like really heavy and kind of tight when I get it a little bit of gunk on, I guess you want to bump around in the box. Let'S take that right off yeah. It'S got some really good weight to it. Yeah, it's pretty nice look a little bit of grease

 The black one has a lot of play in the tolerances and the clip tends to stick at awkward angles. Balance seems okay and if you’re just starting out it may help you discover what kind of weight you like for a very low price. Just don’t expect to use it for long. Update: The seller offered me a replacement at no charge

Poor quality, falls apart. Seller provided fast replacement which has held up better

  All and all, I can't say I'm impressed. Weight seems to be about right and they turn ok, but the build quality is lacking. I suppose you get what you pay for.
