I need something that’s available in a 147-148 and destroys rails and anything the park throws at it - and is alright outside of the park. I’ve looked into the Bataleon Disaster, but soon learned it had raised contact points that can hurt its performance in icy conditions which I ride a lot (Northeast Pennsylvania). I’ve looked into the Lib Tech Box Scratcher but had people tell me that the banana profile is horrible - pretty much every board seemed to have a major flaw.

I want pop to hit jumps, etc etc, but also stability, something that some park boards come up short on. Cost is definitely a factor, and Bataleon disaster plus is the more expensive one, but it also seems to have the best specs out of the boards I listed.

Check out the bataleon disaster or lobster jib board. They're pretty much the same board just have different names. I have the lobster and it's insanely soft.

Technically they're camber boards but they're super mellow camber so pretty much flat.

Not sure if its just the disaster (first bataleon for me) or all / most bataleons, but it took a day or two to get used to the feel. I have a quiver of boards and can switch between them all fine, but the disaster feels a bit different from the rest, a lot more slidey? The edges don't grip the snow like other boards when carving and whatnot.

Maybe not got the carwing but I really enjoy my bataleon disaster for just jibs and playing around as well as some deep snow

Bataleon disaster is on the cheaper, softer side of their boards. The spoon shaped boards are pretty forgiving about edge catches while buttering.

I bought a 2022 Bataleon Disaster board 151 cm, took it out the first day of the season, and not even halfway through the day the board was delaminating and cracked on one end (no collision, no rock boarding, didn’t even hit park). I bought the board from Evo, it’s been a pain in the ass getting them to let me return it, and finally just got the return processed a month after I raised the issue with them. I’m considering buying another board through Evo or Curated just because it’s easy to purchase and they have a wide range of choices that are in my price range (~450).
