I Think this is going to be great for the price point that it's going to be offered at Fantastic Machine.

I hope everyone is doing well today...i am looking for an espresso machine and grinder for my mobile/market coffee shop. I have been looking at a couple of grinders and the one that interests me the most is the Baratza Sette 270. For the espresso machine, I have been looking at the Profitec pro 600, Breville Dual Boiler BES920XL, Rancilio Silvia Pro Espresso Machine, LUCCA A53 Mini Espresso Machine by La Spaziale. As of right now, I'm leaning towards the Profitec pro 600, Rancilio pro, and the Lucca A53.

although having trouble getting a really fine grind for espresso- just did 2 shots with it on the finest setting, but it didn't choke the machine, and brewed i n the right time=- that should happen up around the 5-7 mark- but it might be the beans I'm using right now- The bag claimed they were roast...

If you don't want manual, it's probably around $600 for true quality espresso with a Breville Bambino and Eureka Notte or Sette 270. That will give you good shots and also has the milk frother if you ever want it. A good chunk of change though. BUT if it doesn't have to be espresso but good iced latte flavors you can go much cheaper, all you need is strong coffee.

Too much to clean up after dosing. Adjusted unit to fit my portafilter and still srays out the grounds.

Yeah I know it’s a busy kitchen but I’m in a Parisian flat, every square inch counts! Anyway, I just fully upgraded my first setup (Lelit Pl41 PLUS and Baratza Sette 270) with a ECM Puristika and Option-o Lagom P64 with High Uniformity burrs, and I couldn’t be happier. Saving space was one of my top objectives and since I mostly drink espressos, it was fine for me to ditch the steam wand.

I ordered this item and received it in a timely manner. The specific reason I ordered this model and brand, was that a previous coffee grinder (another brand), died - mainly because grinds kept getting stuck in the chute... This grinder, has no "chute" - the grinds pouring directly into a container ...

Out of those the sette 270 had the best grind consistency for pour over but I bought it for both pour over and espresso, and I don’t think you could do French press with it. My current pour over grinder is a eureka mignon filtro and I’ve been really happy with the grind consistency. If you ever get into espresso, I do use a Mazzer mini for espresso now though, and that *was* worth the upgrade.
