 You definitely need the turner and what i'll do is i'll i'll? Take the whole pizza kind of move it to one side and then about every 10 seconds, i'm going to rotate it and work it bring in this case from left to right all right. So, as you can see, i'll just rotate it and you can always look underneath it and see how it's doing, but you can see it start to puff up. You can tell how brown evenly brown the crust is and again every five to ten seconds i'll rotate.  I, like it, it's a good, solid piece of gear, so if christmas is coming and your loved one needs something special, i recommend the baker stone. So good piece of gear see you next time. 

 If you've got a topper on it, like that's flush with the top of the truck bed, it will fit nicely under there, so it moves really easy and so far i can tell you: we've had it on about 15, almost 20 minutes.  I followed all the tips in the manual and in the Amazon feedback -- removed the flavorizer bars, made sure the gas pipes were unclogged and in good working condition -- and had all four burners on full-blast. The air was still and the outside temperature was 98°F, so I can't blame the weather.  The built-in temperature gauge made it as far as the line between "oven" and "fire," which my IR thermometer measured as just shy of 500°F. I can do that inside in my normal oven! Apparently, I would have been better off continuing to use an ordinary pizza stone in my normal oven

 Try this um, i just closed the garage door and we're gon na get this thing a little more hot and then i'm going to toss. This is the pizza right here we're gon na toss. This pizza on this is the pizza peel that came with the baker stone. I'Ve got some cornmeal underneath there um, the cornmeal helps it slide off, and it also gives it like kind of a nice texture to the to the crust when you're eating it

 So once i get this up to temperature you're going to see me slide this pizza on and we'll see how long it takes to get this. I'Ve got also the pizza turner that came with this baker stone. So we use that that says that about every minute you should rotate the pizza about a third or a quarter of the way around, because the back of the oven is supposed to be the hottest. So we're gon na give that a go

Here we go i'm going to uh. I just slide this in i'm going to start my timer series start stopwatch: okay, we're gon na reset and start let's go okay

 It'S gone now we're gon na be at pizza, cooking temperature. Like i said, this is my first time ever cooking it so you're gon na get to see firsthand just how well this pizza oven is going to work, [, Music, ] and because every time i want to film a video, it gets extremely windy out. I believe this is due to a hurricane - that's going through i'm in my garage because i'm out of the wind and it's very well ventilated, so i can use propane accessories. Uh in this garage safely got my baker stone warm right up

Bakerstone Pizza Oven | How Well Does it Really Work?

OMG....first time user and made fabulous roasted chicken!

I received a Bakerstone Pizza Oven for my birthday last year, and after using it a half dozen times, I really like it. The assembly was very simple and straight forward, and the build quality is great (all powder coated metal parts, and precision cut stones). On my standard 4 burner Charbroil grill, this thing preforms very well. In about 20-25 minutes, the interior temp reaches between 600 - 650°F and stays there

 This is for the bottom, the top and the sides - very even temperature all around. A 10" personal pizza will cook in about 4 minutes, and tastes great. It does have a taste that is typically associated with being 'wood fired', and that is from the charring the crust gets from the bottom stone. The reaction is different than the dough against stainless steel as in a typical oven

Great product if you like making your own pizzas from scratch.

Requires all 4 or more burners to get to temp. I found that I needed to make smaller pizzas 8" seems the best. I also found that I needed to use parchment paper under the pie even with the corn meal. That way it would glide in and out better
