Let's jump right in I Want to start off by saying that the redesign of this pace 500 is beautiful They absolutely nailed it Aventon great job Redesigning your original ebike for those of you that don't know the pace 500 was the first ebike that Aventon came out with So great redesign on the left hand We have great hand grips with a front brake as you would expect that operates the integrated brake lights Great job Aventon finally adding that safety feature after many of my videos suggested that you do that The throttle just like all Aventons now does work from zero You do have the power and headlight as well on this and those controls are operated using your left thumb Up and down controls the pedal assist mode, which this model has one through five pedal assist on the pace 500 The 500 does say that it is a 500 watt motor There is the pace 350 and i'm not sure yet if they're going to also add these key safety features to the pace 350 Back to the pace 500 You'll see you get a full color display that does dim when the headlights turn on you can see the headlight button Up there in the top left corner of the display Really nice that they added their top of the line display to this pace 500 I think this now makes this a great entry-level ebike for everybody on the right hand grip. You have these beautiful hand grips Um, and you have your shifter, which is eight in the rear So single gear in the front and eight in the rear So really nice hand grip here using your thumb to go down and your index finger just to shift up Here's a view of the front headlight, which I do like it is very easily to adjust as well And it is super bright.  I think this now makes this a great entry-level ebike for everybody on the right hand grip. You have these beautiful hand grips

 Um, and you have your shifter, which is eight in the rear

 Here's a view of the front headlight, which I do like it is very easily to adjust as well

 And it is super bright. I did have some testing that I was able to do at night

 On any sort of road now this pace 500 again the styling on this thing. They nailed it

 I just love love the paint that they did on this white here with the

 You know the accents of the black and the lime green

 Here is your battery charger, which is now

 More integrated than their previous model into the frame

 You can see that it's seamless there, which just looks beautiful. The only thing missing that you'll see is no front fork

 So the only shock absorber that you have is actually under the seat, which is very minimal

 So if you're are taking this or plan to take it on a lot of off-roads

 You're going to miss that front fork if you're on a lot of smooth and paved paths

 Then these little shock absorbers that you have on the back of the Aventon seat

 Made it really comfortable and all my testing that was done either on a street or on these paved paths

 But again, I want to say that the integration of the headlight and the tail light improves rider safety

 I'm so glad that Aventon has finally done that with their pace 500

 Now I am testing out their step-through model as you can see here

 Which makes it really comfortable although I don't utilize it when I get on in this instance

 So with the twist of a throttle or the push down of your left thumb

 You can easily take off and me at 200 pounds this 500 watt motor is plenty of power for me

 I'm about 200 pounds and you can see here in this brake test that I did

 The brakes also have plenty of stopping power as well
