CDC scientists pursue deadly monkeypox virus in Africa
I just read through it on an older ASUS Chromebook Flip (ARM, 4GB) without issue. I found it to be a clever and engaging presentation format for a tablet. If I were on my desktop I'd probably go for the print view though.
Asus Chromebook Flip CM5 Review
Except for its bulk and its weak webcam, it's one of the nicest Chromebooks we've tested and an impressive value..Its webcam makes you look bad, but the Asus Chromebook Flip CM5 is an otherwise excellent choice among big-screen, small-price convertibles

iPad 9.7‑inch
I'm a big fan of the Asus Flip (and will likely either upgrade to the new model or to the Samsung). It's increasingly my go-to travel machine. But I find it awkward as a tablet. I usually carry my old iPad with me even when I bring the Chromebook.
Pinebook – Powerful, Metal and Open Source ARM 64-Bit Laptop
I have a RK3399-based (same chip as in the PBP) chromebook -- ASUS Chromebook Flip CA101P -- as one of my daily rides. It has no issue playing 1080@60fps & 4K@30 youtubes (I cannot physically output more than 4K@30 to my TV). Its Chrome browser is among the fastest browser experiences I get in my daily routine (which includes linux and windows desktops).
Most used parts of my collection
* Asus Chromebook Flip - perfect tool for consumption and travel. Touchscreen, flips into a tablet, killer battery life, instant boot, no fans to clog up.
A new generation of Chromebooks, designed to work with millions of apps
I have an Asus Flip, which I love, and use for serious work (I use Ubuntu via crouton).
Google Pixelbook Is Google’s New Chromebook
I like larger laptops, I prefer the MBP keyboard, and I generally need to be able to run more stuff locally. But I'm glad I have it, I use it around the house when my mac is plugged into a monitor in my office, and I'll definitely use it for all future international travel. (Asus Chromebook Flip, FWIW. ).
Acer Spin 713 2021 Questions / Compare
- ASUS C536. - ASUS CX5400. Those seem to be the top picks in this general category and price for 2-in-1s. Galaxy Chromebook too (sorta), but I've crossed it off of my list when comparing it to other options.
The iPad Pro
I really like my Asus Chromebook Flip, but I suspect that by the time you're done enhancing the design you're getting into the laptop/high-end tablet price range. And I don't understand the market for the Pixel.I do think there's going to be a re-convergence between tablets and laptops even given the track record of convertibles but it's going to require a lot of thought and engineering and testing around specific use cases. (And I also understand why Apple might not be incented to drive things too hard in this direction. ).
