Asus Chromebook CX9

It can only run websites.. and android apps.. and Linux apps.. and virtual machines.. and have a full desktop ui and have all the previously mentioned open at the same time... I've had the pixel slate for 3 years and I'm def getting the cx9 as my main "PC".

I have an Asus Chromebook CX9 which remains on my desk connected to two monitors. I use it for work as well, via Citrix.

The ASUS CX9 finally looks like a worthy replacement, but they are hard to come by right now. I haven't seen any Chromebooks with souped-up graphics. I ended replacing my Pixelbook with a new M1 Macbook Air base model. Totally impressive and a worthy replacement for me.

Asus CX9: can't find it in stock anywhere & 16:9 ratio. Acer Spin 713 (2021): kind of heavy & heard battery life wasn't the best.

My main devices these days are the Asus Chromebook CX9 (16gb ram, 512gb storage) and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ (8gb ram, 512gb storage). The chromebook is mostly used for work stuff and when i want to do some stuff online with multiple monitors. My samsung is what i take with me when i go out, sit in the backyard with and do most of my media consumption with (i.e. casting, streaming).

if you can get your hands on an Asus Chromebook CX9, i highly recommend it. It's a power house. i have the 16gb ram version and use it for work as well. I run citrix in a workspace and also join various type of meetings throughout the day.

I've bought the Asus CX9 and with the changes coming to the dev channel, I think that Chrome OS will be an even better suit for me. I just really enjoy Chrome OS. I think it's a pretty good operating system that perfectly suits my needs, working as a teacher, using the train every day to and from work.
