As good as any soft shell I've ever used, There are no pit zips, I don't think you need them.

They just will not wear out. Yes, the brand is expensive compared to others, but well worth it, IMO.

Really nice softshell but it doesnt have any type of velcro or strechy tape insawn in cuffs to keep it from sliding on to the hand. I roll them up to keep that from happening, however there should be a velcro like in hard shell jackets or strechy tape sawn in like in gamma mx.
