Yeah, this is a really strong contender, definitely worth checking out.

And there's no question that it's an amazing bit of value for money.

the caveat is that it is not as high performance as a fully balanced regulator design and is not sealed for cold water use. and maintaining the regulators will cost you money even if used sparingly (because the rubber parts eventually go bad). if you only plan to dive on vacation a few times a year, just rent bcd/regs when needed. buy a wrist computer like the deep 6 excursion, aqualung i330r, or shearwater peregrine.

I did see that the I330r had a recall for a bad seal, but was assured by the guy at the LDS that the issue had been corrected. Upon our first dive with them, mine lost a button on the initial decent, flooding and bricking the computer before I even reached 30ft. My wife's appeared to work throughout the dive, but the depth was off by about 5 ft during the safety stop. Hers then never went into surface mode, and kept recording the second dive as part of the first.

I love my Aqualung i330r, which is rechargeable, has a Bluetooth connection and lets me import data on my mobile, and a color display. It was also within my budget or max 300 EUR.
