 So make sure it comes with a power adapter. That gives continuous power to all the devices that are connected with the USB and you don't find any problems. So finally after doing a lot of research I found this Anker USB hub. This one has ten USB ports

 Now let's have a closer look at the USB hub. We've got 7 USB 3.0 ports here and then 3 supercharged fast charging ports here. It's a very simple and nice design

 Now on the 3.0 USB ports I've connected my 1TB hard disk and I've also connected the adapters to the headphone, adapters to the mouse, 2 flash drives, the cable to the webcam, the keyboard and so on and so far they've been working perfectly without any problems. I've been using it for a while now but so far I did not encounter any problem at all. So I'm so far quite happy with this device and I highly recommend anyone who's looking for a USB hub to buy this one and if you're interested to buy it you can just go to the link in the description of this video that takes you directly to the manufacturer's website where you can buy this device

Worked great for over a year (Purchased in February 2021, writing this in June 2022) but so far 2 of the ports have failed, any time anything is plugged into them windows gives a notification stating that the USB device isn't recognized.

A Little Flakey With Linux

com/AmazonBasics-USB-3-0-Cable-Male/dp/B00I83XD4Q . Nonetheless, it looks and feels good overall.  The first call to duty for my own Hub was to be a charging station for a number of devices kept near my desk. I immediately plugged my various USB cables into the 3 charge only ports

 I would test with another cable, but I have none and consider the one included to be appropriate for the purpose of this review. I have tested the USB port used on my computer by plugging in the HDD, SD Card Reader and Joystick directly to it with complete success. The only variable that fails is the Anker USB 3.0 Hub itself

  The build of this USB Hub is no different. Rounded corners, noticeable weight, soft touch plastic, sensibly arranged ports, two tone mix of glossy and matte black; all give rise to the feeling of a well designed product. Both for the eyes and to the usefulness of the Hub. It looks great on my desk as well as mounted to my wall (does not include wall mounting hardware - I 3D Printed my own solution for that); although it does have a slightly shorter than I would like 32 inch USB 3

Well deserved of the Anker brand name, except for the USB 3.0 data connections.

 This is all SPECIFICALLY based on Mac users probably using a Macbook Pro I can't speak for anyone else.  Pro: - The device does what it says, the ports are super fast, the device is efficient and if you have a computer with two ports as I do you do need something like this - I'm a photographer and wherever I go I constantly need to charge portable power banks and batteries, so the three ports at the end of this device allows me to have all my stuff in one area and be prepared whenever I have a trip, great plus  Cons: - The biggest con is that this device (as said in some other reviews) may or may not shut down your wifi, or at least completely destroy your internet speed to below 1mb/s. Now that's probably not Anker's fault and there are ways to get around it, the concept is called USB 3.0 interference if you want to search it on google

 This particular device has matte grippy sides so it can be handled more easily but a few of their other products do not have the same treatment which is a shame.  Another minor issue I have is how the power connector fits with the device. If you do not move the device a lot you probably will not notice, but if it gets moved it may cut off due to either an ill fitting connection, a short, or whatever the issue is. So if you plan on using important peripherals with this device watch out since it may cause data loss

 I appreciate that. I ended up buying the newer 14 port hub since it has more ports AND the ports themselves are multi-functional now AND the 14 port hub is hot swappable while the 10 port apparently is not. I also appreciate that once I posted my review, Anker contacted us and offered a replacement for the 10 port hub.  It's kind of hard to increase my review to 5 stars though
