 This was something that was meant to replace my Ohio bar stainless steel as kind of a do it all bar because the knurling is not very aggressive but it's supposed to be grippy. Of course, I had to find that out for myself. I I I read the reviews and I believed them but there really just aren't a lot out there and there are no videos out for this American barbell elite power bar specifically but that center neural should be good to go and should definitely get more rigidity out of a 29 millimeter diameter bar regardless of tensile strength. How it kinda looks brownish silver in this video

 So, what is that? 100, you know, about 133 pounds including my collars. Um so, you know, it's not like I'm gonna be able to tell you how well it grips 400, 450 pounds but um I will be able to give you, you know, the feedback that I can give you but specifically on presses um which I think a lot of people are gonna look at something like this for presses and rows um and maybe even some deads. You know, I'll do, I'll do, I've been doing, I've been able to do um Romanian deadlifts. I'm still scared to pull from the floor um cuz it is more of a squatting motion and so with the groin pull, I'm still doing my rehab

50 basically 475 out the door. It's a lot when you can get, you know, bars that are way more well reviewed and just, you know, that you've, you know, you just know more about like the rogue Ohio power bar. Even the Ohio bar that I have the stainless steel, it has the power bar markings. It just lacks the center neural and that was the big selling point for me

American Barbell Elite Power Bar Initial Review!!!

 All right. All right. All right. I'm back. This is Skeptastic AKA

 Brotney Dangerfield back with another home gym video. So,

 I've taken a couple of videos um with me lifting and doing

 some talking about my programming and some of my

 equipment but um I have not gotten around to editing those

 things between MCAT study and family life and just living

 man. Um I intend to piece those things together and try my hand

 at some of the editing software but this just came in earlier

 this evening and uh yeah this I had to do for you. As you can

 see, this is the American barbell elite power bar. So,

 you've got the uh man beautiful, beautiful in caps. You got the

 well well reviewed and well spoken about hard chrome

 sleeves and as people always say but it is the it is the

 straight up truth. If you can't see it here through the video

 that videos and pictures don't do some of these items any

 justice, man. There's the recessed recessed wells that

 everyone talks about. Very very beautiful, very clean, very

 very clean. I'll get way up on there. Look a lot different in

 person than what they kinda seem to appear to be online. So,

 you got hard chrome sleeves. You've got a very very very

 fine stainless steel shaft. This is a power bar. So, it just

 has the power bar markings but look at that man and when

 people talk about it being very fine like sandpaper, let me get

 as close as I can. Oh, that is not bad. Let's see if if it'll

 focus up for you though. Not the best lighting and not the

 best camera but that's about as close as I can get to show you

 that but I mean it is it is so fine that when you look at it,

 you would think, oh, that's not gonna be very grippy or it's

 not gonna feel good but I'll tell you what, man. I put my

 hands around that before I even thought to start filming this

 video and it feels like it is like stuck to your hands and I

 would say arguably almost more than my rogue stainless steel

 Ohio bar which feels fantastic but this I can tell this isn't

 gonna cut me up at all and it's I mean it's just it is really

 just a work of art. So, I will I'll do a little bit more on

 this once I get it in the palms and you know, get some squats

 and some presses in and some some bench pressing and tell

 you a little bit more about what I think but man, am I glad

 I picked this up. I was so on the fence. These bars cost

 quite a bit as those of you who are probably looking at this

 are aware of because you you you already are probably aware

 of the bar, some of the particulars and so, this is a

 bar that retails at $495 plus shipping shipping to me in

 Houston was $29 even so, you know, 524. I managed to get it

 at with a 10% off discount. So, 474.50 basically 475 out the

 door. It's a lot when you can get, you know, bars that are

 way more well reviewed and just, you know, that you've,

 you know, you just know more about like the rogue Ohio

 power bar. Even the Ohio bar that I have the stainless

 steel, it has the power bar markings. It just lacks the

 center neural and that was the big selling point for me. This
