This little 11-inch fan is one of the least expensive models we tested and is small enough to hide in the corner of a bedroom or even on the edge of a table. With marked differences between all three settings, this straightforward model does a pretty good job in smaller rooms around your home. The control knob is on the top of the unit, so it's easy to adjust and clicks into place to direct air confidently around the room. 
However, it only locks into five available angles, each 22.5° apart to cover its 90° arch. Though adequate in smaller spaces, it's also less powerful than most other floor fans we tested. This fan can only be cleaned by vacuuming it or wiping the outside with a cloth. Without any visible screws to remove the front grill, there is no reasonable way to get to the blades inside. For what it is, though, this simple unit is a solid value to help keep you comfortable in the bedroom or your home office.

 But, the 7" model is still stronger than the "fan only" function on a small heater. Both of these are larger than the stated inch size, which may be the fan blade inside, only.

SEVEN INCH VS ELEVEN INCH I ordered this 7" fan during a big hundred degree heat wave because it was in stock. I was concerned 7" sounded tiny. It's an average size fan, the size of many small space heaters. It's a decent fan but the 11" model is several times stronger if you want more of a full size fan

 The 7 inch is great for 10'x12' offices. As to the noise level, I would recommend keeping the fan at least 3 feet or 1 meter away from your head while on the phone, at medium or high speed setting. I guess if you traveled by personal or company vehicle often it would fine to store in the backseat, boot, trunk, etc. To run inside of a vehicle, It's kinda big for that

I needed a good quality desk fan for work. 6 inch $10 to $15 fans were ok, but not designed to run 12-16 hours a day on high. Sometime there are too many computers in my office, generating too much heat. I needed a fan that could keep up

 If you step outside that circumference you'll feel the difference. But, while it's on you, you feel a pleasant breeze and flow that keeps you cool and not perspiring.  It was smaller than I anticipated when I took it out of the box, but once I turned it on and let it do its thing, all was forgiven.

Sufficient breeze and airflow

We purchased this box fan to help circulate air conditioned air throughout our RV. On high speed we can feel it blowing air for about 14 feet. It blows almost constantly every day throughout this summer heat. It is not as noisy as metal box fans, and I do not think that its motor is quite as strong as the fans from my childhood made in the USA
