Another bright, straightforward light is the Amazon Basics 210 LED. At 20 feet long, it's shorter than some other contenders, but depending on your scenario, this may be desirable. The thick, tubular design is pretty durable and shines bright white light all around it. The tubing does a great job at protecting the light, and this model resisted kinks better than most during our testing period. 
For the most part, this design is quite basic, and it would have been nice if there was a little more to it. It lacks a power switch, although that can be remedied by pairing it with a smart plug or extension cord with switches. Otherwise, to turn it off, it must be unplugged. You also don't have the option to cut it to the desired length, unlike some other products in this review. Still, for value, it's less expensive than the other similar options and casts a ton of light.

Incredibly bright!! I had bought these to put in my living room to add some soft light around the ceiling. I feel these lights are more suited to landing an airplane.  They were way too bright. We ordered the white. The rope light itself is great quality and would be perfect for a winter project outside in northern Iowa when there are no bugs, but for the summer, we won't use them.

Too bright for camper!

I found a few of these on woot! last year but couldn't get enough to go all the way around the house. I finally broke down and paid full price for the last strand I needed. I never pay full price for lights and try to get them on clearance.  These are a bit pricey for what you get

 The connectors on a couple were squished flat and I had to try and flatten them out with pliers.  Other than that, they are great. They are so bright that they overpower any other lights we have up. You can see a green aurua emanating from our house from a block away

Super bright, little pricey

The pictures led me to believe these would put off a warm white light more like a traditional incandescent rope light. They look crazy. Back in your 20s did you ever close a bar and they turn the lights on at bar time, and you see what the person next to you REALLY looks like? That's what these are like. Jarring

Wish I had trusted the other reviews regarding brightness

Product came as expected. The only issue im running into is that about 2-3feet of rope light from one side keeps turning off or flickering when it gets moved. I have to jiggle it a bit to turn it back on. I would return it for a replacement but it’s not that serious, also the fact that i don’t want to take it down from where I put it

Good lights

 These lights have a pinkish tint to them. I think I'll be fine with the tint, but it's just not what I expected, so I took one star away.
