Our Point of View on All-Clad 2 Quart Sauce Pans From Amazon

 It's long and thin, which is good for heat dissipation, but bad for gripping it, which is what a handle is for in the first place. More importantly, the handle is also shaped so that the sides are upturned ridges, which puts all the weight on a small surface area of your hand when lifting it. I have a $10 pan with a rounded handle that I'd much rather pick up than this one which costs 12 times as much. If comfort during use is a priority for you, then beware of this brand in general, as it looks like their handle design is standardized across most of their pans

Great materials, poor lip and handle design

 This advertisement is inaccurate and misleading, which made us believe there were two versions of the size pan. That's disappointing, and my rating reflects it.

Great brand, nice size option to add to my options

 Got rid of that due to getting rid of the person in the house who had won it.  3) some walmart cheap ($10) stainless steel thing with a glass lid that had very thin sides and resulting poor heat conduction up the sides. Also the handle got really hot  I finally got totally fed up with the walmart pan and bought this all clad stainless steel pan. The difference in quality and performance is quite substantial

 The width is also great and feels like it cooks evenly. The lid is nice and heavy, but it does get HOT so be careful and use a potholder. Overall, I'd buy again but a smaller size due to the weight -or get one that has a helper handle on the other side.

 The handle is a bit awkward like the other reviews said. It's quite long and the angle feels sort of strange, and washing it does take a bit of getting used to. If this wasn't on sale for $120, I'd probably be more upset or picky about it. But given that I feel it's cooking quality and safety is just top of the line, I can let that slide and still give it 5 stars
