 The manufacturer used a piece of wood that had a knot in it, and the knot caused the support bar to crack during shipment. Because I did not want to pay the cost of shipping back the blind, and I needed it immediately, I used wood glue and some clear tape to fix the wood and mounted it with four screws into the door lentil. It works just fine as far as the functionality now. My second complaint is that it does not block sunlight very well

 I do wish the bamboo was little less orange-toned and bit more brown, but it's not bad and still looks nice. In total, the shade, the adhesive strips and the tension rod cost me about $45-ish, which is so much better than $100+ for other options out there. I like it overall.
