I just use my Acer XF270HU gaming monitor. It has nice colors (imo) and when I get the photos over on my iPad Pro the colors look very similar. So I think it’s good enough.

I bought the Acer XF270HU because at a glance it was the best value 144hz 1440p 1ms response monitor with Freesync. Before I can even hook it up, [the mounting bracket breaks one of its weak pegs while I'm connecting the display to it](https://imgur.com/a/2KasBtt). It was made out of this poorly cast cheap pot metal alloy, probably from China, and the bracket design just seemed poor as well and not like something that would have held the weight of my monitor over the next few years. The 2 pegs are the size of baby teeth and for whatever reason the spring-tensioned screw in the middle seemed predestined to break the peg from the pressure I was having to put on it just to work the screw into its hole.

The issue which could be existing here is that the monitor uses artifical sharpening already at setting 1 of the sharpness adjusting. I bought a BenQ monitor recently (EX2780Q) which had 10 sharpness settings, also with setting 5 being the default. Compared to my Acer XF270HU which doesn't have any sharpness setting on by default, this setting seemed oversharpened. When I turned it to 0 though it was blurry.

It's an Acer XF270HU and i'm running in 144hz. I get 144hz in all games except for Apex Legends. Thing is I have checked both Windows settings and Nvidia settings, and it's running 144hz everywhere.
