 This is a 4k monitor and I've had a chance to use it now for about two or three weeks and it's been amazing. I also own a 27-inch iMac as well with the 5k monitor. I Have to say first off, I plug this in and as soon as I slowed it up, a 4k desktop image I was like wow, this is amazing so it's very, very close to the quality you can expect from the 5k monitors from Mac I'm not sure if my eyes can really tell the difference between 4 and 5. K The only difference is if you're working in a project that's 4k, say a video project

[music] Howdy folks! Welcome to geeky nerdy techie today! I'll be reviewing my 4k monitor. It's the Asa HB 2 8, 1 HK monitor. This is a 4k monitor and I've had a chance to use it now for about two or three weeks and it's been amazing. I also own a 27-inch iMac as well with the 5k monitor

 There are some trade-offs sometimes when you're running at this sort of resolution, some of the older programs aren't optimized for Kate obviously, so some of the toolbars are really small. There's one trick I've also enabled: I use this on Windows 7 and I also use it on Windows 10 when I did the upgrade to see how it would work. you have to turn up your magnification settings so about 150 percent larger than normal and then things start to look right. It doesn't work for all of the programs, but it will work for the majority of them

They give you this nice beefy stand and see if I can get a little light going here, but there's your power plug with a with the on/off switch there next to it. Say alright so here's the monitor on and you'll see at least with the computer I'm running which is 7th Gen Intel actually integrated graphics. Here's the resolutions that I'm capable doing with this monitor. You see the 4k at the top

 I took a star off because you only get 30Hz refresh rate at the 4K resolution. To get 60Hz refresh rate you need to drop the resolution to 2K.
