 You can edit all the sounds that you want as well so you can edit all the presets so if you said I don't want to have so much distortion on one of the distortion effects you can turn the distortion down. Now with this expression pedal you have access to a few more effects that the B1-4 does so you could do like a volume control you could use it as a pitch control and you could also use it as a manual wah. Now to create your own loop you can go into the rhythm button you press this rhythm button here you select the tempo that you want and you can filter through the different rhythms. You can also set the balance of the rhythm as well

 So here's another synth bass patch. As you can see, it actually tracks pretty well. I didn't notice any lag or anything when I was playing it. It was pretty much keeping with my fingers

 I'm playing through a custom made guitar through a Line 6 DT25 amplifier, I've got it set up for basically a Fender Deluxe type clean tone. Just a nice neutral tone. If I bring in the effect, this is an effect called Silver Haze that has a lot of different components, there are actually six different pedals in this. Now in this effect we've got a noise gate, we've got a vibe effect, we've got an overdrive, we've got a delay, there's a variety of different things going on

 We can step over to the vibe effect, here it's on, very easily bring that in and out. We can also bring our overdrive in and out. So during the course of a song you can be bringing effects in and out, you can have six of them in a chain, set them all up for what you want to do and then very easily switch them on and off. Whether you're looking for a pedal that will do a variety of individual effects like delay, modulation, overdrive or fuzz, or you want something that will do multi effects for you and you don't have a lot of room on your pedal board or you want to just grab one pedal, throw it in your gig bag and take it with you to the show, the Zoom Multistomp MS50G is a great choice

 The MS50G has 47 different effects types as well as eight different modeled amplifiers so there are a lot of different tones on board. There are a ton of features in the MS50G, too many to get into in this video here, but a few that jumped out of me include tap tempo for the delays, there's a USB port for updating firmware, you can change the order of the effects in a chain or you can change the number of effects in a chain, so it's a very versatile pedal that will give you a lot of different tones. Zoom stuff always sounds good and is inexpensive. This box can provide a decent live tone. I would add a small cab sim pedal after it if going direct to pa even though it has can sim built in. Found it sounded better live that way

Pleasant Surprise - Good Pedal

 If you don't want to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on individual pedals and a pedal board, then GET THIS PEDAL!

 My pedal updated quickly with no issues. There are "extra" effects, but you have to download the effects manager. This took me awhile to figure out. Zoom should really give more detailed instructions

Solid unit with a ton of effects!

 it is also VERY easy to learn, as I figured it out without a manual within a few minutes with very little effort. The amp sims are decent, good sounds can be easily found and made. Created sounds using amp sims do change somewhat when going direct in, as 'line in' selected on amp sim config. page can mean no cabinet, which often goes a LONG way to defining tone

 You can get approximations of about any guitarist you like fairly easily, if you know what they use, and creative ideas are many. Many effects are quite usable, some are just worthless gimmicks (if you update to 100 effects) though. I would have by far appreciated more USEFUL effects like delays or reverbs in the update as opposed to 30+ gimmicky, trinket one-shot sounds no one has a use for. Getting rid of noise created by some effects (too much effect/overdriven or pushing some amp sims or distortion OD's too far) requires use of the noise gate(s)

 The choruses have a little too much feedback. The crazier effects are useless to me, but they would’ve delighted 14 year old me. I like the compressors and noise gate options. The few drive/distortion/fuzz options I like are the Sweet Honey, RC Booster, Octafuzz, and Boss models

 I hate that I can’t easily change patches on my PC. A lot of the distortions are far off the mark. I have two EHX Big Muffs and neither version on this pedal comes close. For the most part, it doesn’t emulate analog drive very well

 I like the compressors and noise gate options. The few drive/distortion/fuzz options I like are the Sweet Honey, RC Booster, Octafuzz, and Boss models. The delays are fine.

  I keep this on my board for the delays, compressors, flanger, and select distortions, but I regret spending money on the Zoom.

 Right, so what we've got is we've got an effects chain, works like a normal effects chain would, so we can scroll left and right through it. Currently we've got about 5 effects in the chain, we can have up to 8, and you can run any 8 in any order, so you can have 8 distortions, you can have 8 delays, blah blah blah, we've got reverbs, modulation effects, samplers, synths, there's a roll in there, 47 and we've got 8 amps. So what we're going to do is we're going to play a clean tone, which is just my amp tone. So that's our naked control track, and then we're going to go to the front of our chain and put on our distortion pedal, see what that sounds like

 This is kind of a higher gain setting, we've also got a diesel head in there, and a 2 rock, few marshals, few fenders, won't go through them all, but we'll definitely go through this one. So the control without, then with. Right, so that's one of them, let's try another one. Acoustic

 So let's listen to the delay, as it lives in the effects loop. So first without, and then with. Now with. You're currently clean? Yep

 I think we've got a copy of a Proko Rat in there, which is called the Squeaker. So let's see what that sounds like off, and then on. So moving over, we've got a noise gate in there, always good to have a noise gate in your chain, really good one on this, and then we've got the amp models. Now on this we've got like extreme overdrive, super distortion, or whatever it's called
