That is a tragic design error because no matter what the ads tell you the absolute number one task of a data drive is reliability - if it can’t safeguard your data it is useless, and designing a portable storage device that doesn’t have a way of inserting the connecting cable firmly and tightly, is basically useless. All WD would have to do is retool the plastic case slightly to enlarge the data port area and it would make this a tremendously more reliable drive. YES OR NO People rate on emotions, sometimes minutes after the product is delivered to their door. Clicking the I love it button is the easy way out

It's a smaller portable hard drive. In terms of price to capacity this definitely isn't the sweetspot, but if you need something to carry around this should do.
