These are absolutely great hooks. I fish Trout so replacing all treble hooks was absolutely necessary & these worked extremely well (2 treble swim bait? Place rear treble replaced w/ these inline w/ tip pointed rearward & front w/ tip pointed forward). Extraordinarily sharp, strong and have not rusted at all in my use. A great option for treble replacement!

 So if you nose hook this, that fish has to grab this whole bait. Now it's halfway down, down the base of the bait. And when he grabs that, you're not going to have that issue of, you know, the short strikes nearly as much. Anytime I can get away with a straight shank hook, especially Texas rigging saw plastics, that's what I'm going to do

 Yes sir. Look at that. Bait in the roof of the mouth exactly where you want them every single time.

 And what that's doing is it's basically just shaking there with that hook and staying inside that brush pile and it looks so natural because you don't have a weight, you don't have everything else out there. It's just basically almost just a single, you know, a single little worm just dangling in a brush pile, a foot off the bottom, you know, your angle is going to be a little bit different right there, but shaking that thing right there, you know, if that fish is sitting in that brush pile, he can't stand, you know, that worm being six inches off the bottom looking so natural, just like a minnow. And when you're doing this and working that bait, make sure that that weight's on the bottom, you know, cause that's really where you're going to be able to really shake that worm. You want to keep in contact with what's going on, whether that's above the brush pile, whether that's around some rock, you know, you're really, when you shake it, when that bait's on the bottom, that's when you're going to have a lot more action in it
