If you travel frequently and need a high-quality product for your heavier DSLR &#40;or lighter sports camera&#41;, the TYCKA Rangers 56" Compact Travel Tripod is an excellent choice. It stands out for its smooth knob adjustments, which make manipulating height and angles fast and easy. It'll easily convert into a monopod, invert for macro shots, and even has a smaller column attachment that'll set you up nicely for shots just eight inches off the ground. The panorama option and removable Arca-style plate allow you to easily switch out devices, making it worthy for travel and studio use. With ample adjustment options, a low-packed weight, and only 15 inches of space taken up in your suitcase for travel, you'll be taking photos of anything you wish while you explore the globe. It can support a massive weight; DSLR with a large lens? No problem.
While it is excellent for heavy cameras, when fully extended, its stability begins to waver. We rarely used it fully extended, especially when taking timed exposures. Also, while it does get to a height of 49 inches, our 5'6 main testers still couldn't stand up straight when using it. While it seems to be of high quality and quite sturdy at most heights, it isn't perfect. But, if travel is your focus, you've got to check this one out.

If you're shopping for a travel tripod on a budget, it'd be hard to top the TYCKA Rangers 56" Compact Travel Tripod. Not only is the TYCKA affordable, but it's also light making it ideal for backpacking or other adventures during which every ounce counts. Despite its featherlight weight, we were impressed to learn that the TYCKA is rated to support 26.5 pounds. This model also offers some bonus features such as a bubble level, angle marks for panning, and comfortable rubber grips. It's also nice that this model easily converts to a monopod for those instances where you don't require all three legs' maximum stability. 
We did find a few flaws while testing the TYCKA. The leg closure levers do not have adjustable tension, so they will likely wear out over time. We didn't find the panning action on this device to be particularly smooth &mdash; if you're going to be shooting video, you may want to go with a more stable model. The all-metal construction is nice, but when our TYCKA arrived, the tension knob was seized open. We were able to pry it loose with a pair of pliers, but it could have been a serious bummer if we didn't have tools readily available. Despite the drawbacks, we still think that this model is ideal for those looking for a light and affordable travel tripod that can support a lot of weight.

 For reference, I shoot with a Canon 5D IV with attached battery pack and a 28-70 L 2.8 II or 70-200 L 2.8 II lens.  THE GOOD: On the whole, this thing is fairly sturdy

While there is a panorama ring on the tripod, I find it to be fairly unimpressive and unreliable

  What I like: Cost is low for the features. Weight is not too bad. My scale says it's 2.2 lbs

 The two bubble levels are conveniently placed. It's short enough when folded to go in my carry on bag.  What is not so good: This tripod is not very tall at the longest extension so would not be comfortable for anyone who is tall. I'm 5ft

I really like this tripod so far

 I’m impressed by the neat features in this little tripod, especially for the price. The legs spread out for low shooting and the center column comes out and flips upside down for macro shooting. There’s even a retractable “stabilization” hook on the center column for adding weight to steady the tripod when it’s windy, etc. The legs have easy flip locks and the locks that flatten the legs are simple to use as well

I bought this tripod for some macro work with my Canon SX740, primarily indoors. And it looks like it will meet my needs perfectly. With some patience, it looks like any configuration is possible for the macro work. While lightweight, it is sturdy

A marvel for the money

 I wanted something compact that wouldn't be too much of a hassle to carry around since my camera bag is pretty small too. And it is supper easy to adjust to whatever position you want. My camera is a little chunky but when I mounted it on the tripod it felt sturdy and I wasn't worried that it would topple over. I also really like the tripod color and finish
