Tribit StormBox Pro vs Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 2

Why you'd ever turn it off, I don't know. But that's usually the case with speakers that have a bass-boost button -- they simply don't sound as good sans bass boost, so I'm not sure what the point of the button is except to market the speaker as having an extra bass mode.

Every early review I could find stated that the 3 had better bass and overall sound than the 2. If that is the case then the 2 must be a really bad speaker. Sure this speaker sounds pretty good but for anyone saying this has bass I'm struggling to hear where that bass is.

Got this for my husband for Christmas. We love it!!! Easily hooks up to your phone, sounds way better than my TV. (What we previously played Spotify on) It’s small so seems easy transport, holds a long charge. Happy with the purchase!

For instance, if the volume is on a scale of 1-10 with 1 being the lowest audible volume, the volume jumps from a 2 to a 5 with just 1 increase of your phone's volume adjustment. This happens with any phone or app and with both speakers. I emailed Tribit support and they said these are high volume speakers so the overall volume is loud. That doesn't make sense as my car and home audio are significantly louder but have the ability to fine tune lower volume levels

The option on the bottom of the speaker allows you to take a significant amount of bass out of the music and elevate the treble for large parks and days at the beach or simply filling open spaces with you play frisbee with your dog and friends. I haven't needed to use this feature often as the speaker gets so loud. I have taken this speaker to work functions in the park, out hiking with friends, walks around the park, family/friend gatherings and I have not lost my love for it yet. Seriously one of the best audio purchases I have made in years
