Getting the hang of it

  A little heads up, these extenders are not meant to give you the full speed your main wireless router does. They are meant to extend WiFi at a decent speed, at $30 and a relocatable small form factor they won’t compete with your stationary more expensive router.

It works best in "High speed mode"

Initially the time was incorrect and it was not possible to update it. I needed this to be accurate so I could use power scheduling. Also the 2.4GHz WiFi defaulted to channel bonding

 I then found that if I connected both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands and extended the 2.4GHz the extended WiFi was not channel bonded. Initially I had not connected to the 2

As advertised this thing really works !

Only will mesh into their own router system, actual made my throughput lower. Returned it and bought a compatible mesh router for my system.

It was easy to link with my router (verizon wifi 6 router) through the app. The only thing is the speed does not match router speed even when I had it next to the router. My router runs 200-400MB, but the extender only gets at most 90MB even next to the router. It definitely improves range with a consistent speed throughout, just nothing past 90MB
