I wanted a case that was no bigger than it needed to be for my 2021 MacBook Pro 14 — many cases are generic and for all kinds of 14" laptops, making them bigger than they need to be. As you can see by the photo, the tomtoc case fits the MBP14 perfectly - there's no extra space. In fact, you kind of have to fit the MBP into the case. despite the sub-one inch differences between M2 Air and M1 14” Pro, which represent a fairly large cubic difference, this fits the 2022 Macbook Air M2 almost perfectly. there’s some extra wiggle room since it’s meant for the 14, but it’s way better than the 13” case that purports itself to work with the new M2 Air. it’s rather bulky, so not what i’d use to also carry in a pack, but it’s damn near perfect for standalone carry.

I purchased this for my new M1 Max 16" MacBook Pro. I've had sleeves for my previous MacBooks, but wanted something made to fit the new machine and something that offered more protection for drops/falls. Obviously, there are tradeoffs for size, comfort and ultimate protection.

I just received this product and put on my macbook. When I was purchasing I was hesitant because of the negative reviews saying it was hard to put on (to the point it could break your screen) and that the plastic locking tabs were way too hard to open. I found both of these things to be untrue! While putting it on is not totally intuitive, it is easy to figure out. You do not need to press on the screen very hard to get the top on

If you're nervous because of the negative reviews on here don't be

  They spent too much time on the design (which really isn’t that nice) and not enough time on usability.  If you’re planning on opening and closing your MacBook even semi-often, I would suggest looking for a different case.  If you’re expecting a higher-quality case for the steeper $80 price-tag of this item, I would suggest looking for a different case.  All around disappointed in this case; especially for it being $80

Would recommend and worth the price for superior materials used. It has a Snug fit, Modern look and provides Excellent protection. Although it is Lightweight the item still holds up and is Durable, but with a Sleek aesthetic.

It’s a perfect fit! I like that it clicks closed and very easy to open. The cover is very light which is important since this laptop goes with me everywhere. Finally, the vents at the bottom definitely provide the ventilation required. Great purchase!
