My feeling is that this backpack is not designed for carrying heavy loads or being comfortable when fully packed out. The shoulder straps do not seem well designed, are very rigid, and lack load lifters. The back panel lays flat on the back, which is much less comfortable than a bag with some curvature, also the hip strap was entirely useless for moving weight off of the shoulders. If you are looking to get this backpack to carry a heavy load, I would look elsewhere towards brands that are more geared for comfort

One handed operation of the zippers is very poor and this is my biggest gripe about the pack. While traveling it would be helpful to be able to open/close pockets without using both hands.
