 I like bags that have sort of a dedicated big enough pocket for liquids but this is good enough. I got my travel backpack, my shoes, the dry goods and this has an elastic here which is kind of nice. It also has a little slash pocket where I have just a notebook and my pen. Probably could have put my e-reader in there too but it would have been harder to get to on the flight and I want that easily accessible

 As you can tell I didn't really like tie it down too much but you could kind of pull it down. That's a water bottle pocket. It's the only bag that I have that I'm testing that has one which I do like. Let's start here

0inch laptop so why would you make the compartment to hold this? Other than that great backpack.

 My big issue with this back is it lists that it can hold a 15inch laptop. The standard laptop size is 15.6inches and I assumed that this is what Swissgear meant when I purchased the bag because no one makes 15.0inch laptops

 However when you try to fit a standard 15.6inch laptop into the bag it take a lot of cramming and feels like the bag may rip. Huge design flaw. No one makes a 15

Great backpack with one large issue

 The only reason I give it 4 stars: the shoulder pads are a bit narrow and it can cut into your shoulders when fully packed. Also, the organization could benefit from a couple basic utilities like key leash, pen loops, and card holders (maybe in that hidden side pocket). I found the zipper pulls a bit confusing at first since they all look the same, but some discreet colored tape fixed that. These are pretty minor quibbles

 I find the size is perfect: fits under any airplane seat, and doesn't look huge on your back for a business meeting. I am a huge advocate of packing cubes, but the clothing section is not really rectangular so you have to stack them smallest first. I find that an Eagle Creek clean & dirty half cube and an Eagle Creek small pack-it folder are perfect. My dopp kit is very small, so there is plenty of room for a light sweater to grab if needed

 I would definitely recommend this as a low cost option one bag business travelers, especially considering the cost of competitors: eBags ($130 for Prof. Flight Bag, which I also own), Red Oxx ($270 for Air Boss Mini), and Tom Bihn ($330 for Tristar). Granted, the others have lifetime warranties, but who wants to have the same look for 30 years? And I can buy 5 of these bags for one Tristar.

 This is great because it has a sleeve to slip over the handles of a suitcase making it easier to lug just one bag on and off trains, buses etc. It opens like a suitcase, making it easier to pack and not lose everything in the bottom of the bag. Quality seems good for the price and it's pretty light weight. I should be able to throw it on my back as long as I don't over load it
