I'm looking to get a new wireless gaming headset, ideally with independent game and voice chat volume. I did have a Turtle Beach Stealth 420X but it broke last night.

Wireless gaming headset suggestions

 For 110$, your expectations can’t be too crazy, if you were to buy a high end mic and high end headphones, all with with a built in high quality Bluetooth DACs with software support for listening profiles you would expect to spend 10x that amount. So it’s a solid deal, but what your buying is wireless-ness not audio quality or reliability. If I had to buy another Bluetooth headset I’d probably spend a bit more money and try a different brand, with less features, more reliability, and better ootb sound quality but that’s my personal preference.  TLDR: 3/5

 All that being said, if it is working, it will work great for, usually, an entire session (keep in mind, never had ANY issues on PS4). If your audio setup on your PC is super basic (no speakers, no alternate outputs, just running game sound and discord through these phones) then maybe this is perfect for you.  Overall: - I use these headphones all the time, but the 3/5 star rating is ultimately because I still have to keep my wired headset around for when these start to glitch out. The sound quality is rough at first but can be evened out, and I bought these headphones to try out a different sound profile then normal

 I knew they would be kind of shrill with less bass, and I don’t ultimately fault them for that but with that in mind, if you like bass heavy profiles, look elsewhere. The directionality is spot on and the mids and highs are so sharp it makes in game sound cues like footsteps or gunshots stand out like crazy. However the highs are so powerful that gunshots are so loud you have to active the sound compression algorithm on the headphones in order to keep your ears from (bleeding?) ONLY hearing explosions or gunshots. These headphones have been a joy at times and a source of frustration as well

 If I had to buy another Bluetooth headset I’d probably spend a bit more money and try a different brand, with less features, more reliability, and better ootb sound quality but that’s my personal preference.  TLDR: 3/5

Good product when it’s working correctly.

 The EQs in the chat audio and microphone bands have fixed bands, but you can set noise reduction, noise gate, volume stabilizer, and impact noise reduction features each with their own sliders, too. The 7 Plus has the same connection options as the older Arctic 7, with one very meaningful difference. While both headsets primarily use a 2.4GHz USB wireless dongle to connect to your device of choice, the 7 Plus wireless adopts a USB-C connection

 This is the SteelSeries Arctic 7 Plus' headset mic, and now you can actually hear what it sounds like through my voice, and you can decide if you want to buy it or not. The mic prevents hissing, but also keeps the audio from sounding clean enough to use for recording or streaming. The SteelSeries Arctic 7 Plus Wireless brings all the best elements of the Arctic 7, and arguably improves on its two weakest aspects. The battery life of the Arctic 7 is still pretty unimpressive even after SteelSeries updated the firmware to help, and the Arctic 7 Plus Wireless blows it out of the water, along with most every other gaming heads on the market

 Sonar, meanwhile, offers individual 10-band EQs for gaming audio, chat audio, and microphone, and a load of other features.  Who is this headset for and what can you expect once you get it?

 The Arctic 7 Plus is all black, from the earcups matte plastic backs,

 to the wide elastic strap that provides the headset ski goggles like suspension.

 The larger earpads are soft memory foam wrapped in breathable fabric,

 and between them and the headband's springy suspension, the headset is comfortable to wear.

 The left earcup holds the built-in boom microphone that retracts inside the earcup when not in use,
