 The camera does a good job (usually) of following the action, but occasionally winds up in an awkward position. The game telegraphs attacks with a clear wind up, and a "spidey sense" haze around Spider-Man to signify that he&rsquo;s in danger. Still, a lock-on would have been a welcome addition, particularly when you&rsquo;re fighting heavies or bosses with many minions. It never feels unfair, but I would have preferred more manual control of what I target in a fight

 You have a basic melee combo; a web-powered, enemy-tracking heavy attack; and a web projectile that stuns and incapacitates enemies. These are your core attacks, but you can unlock additional moves to expand your kit.&nbsp;

 I really appreciate the whoopin&rsquo; you can take right from jump, which forces you to pay attention to even the most basic game mobs.

 Spider-Man is a glass cannon, so you can perform sick combos and aerial feats with ease, but a bullet or two quickly humbles him. Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered (for PC) Review

Haven't played for more than several hours so far, but I'm loving it. The initial hours are a bit difficult to get used to gameplay wise, but I'm already noticing a slight improvement in my ability to control Spidey both in terms of movement and in combat. It feels a bit clunky at first (at least it did to me) and I was and still am fairly bad at the combat portion especially but there is a natural progression of actual player skill that happens here and it's exciting. The web swinging, overall traversal, and even combat mechanics are increasingly feeling better and better and my enjoyment is rising in tandem with this

  -Upgrade System There are 2 ways to upgrade Spider-man: leveling up and crafting items.  There are 3 upgrade trees you can select from: Innovator: tactical skills Defender: Melee combat based Web-sling: Jump around/dodge better during combat, also can use in overworld/chase sequence mini-games  -Crafting. You can upgrade your suit and make gadgets by collecting in-game tokens by doing side objectives  -There are 27 suits to collect. To unlock suits to craft, you have to be a certain level (and have materials) or complete certain objectives

  Plot (minor spoilers, first few hours): Spider-man finally takes down the Kingpin and put him in jail. As a result, a new villain arises in the form of Mister Negative. Mister Negative or Martin Li also runs F.E

  -Options for combat are: Melee Attacks  Web based attacks  Dodge  Web Gadgets: use of elemental webbing and/or web bombs/traps. Some of which are super effective against certain enemies  Swing Around- can be used as hit-and-run tactic if you're not high enough level  Grab nearby objects with web and toss at enemies  Activate focus meter/Activate Suit Powers - heal or do finishing move  There's a lot of combinations you can do, especially as you upgrade abilities. Combat is very fast, responsive and will not overwhelm you with options as these abilities will unlock gradually as you progress. It's also not a button masher as some abilities require you to time button presses or hold buttons for few seconds during combos

T. shelters across the city, which Peter's Aunt May works for which complicates things.  Aside from the Mister Negative; you face other villains in Spider-man's rogue gallery like Shocker, Electro, Rhino, Scorpion, Dr. Octopus, Vulture, Taskmaster and more

One of very few games I want to play to completion

This story takes place a few years following his origin, and he has come to terms with a lot of his potential and skills, but so far has been unable to find  the perfect work/life balance.

 Skills are special abilities you will be able to earn by doing tasks around the city, these will improve your overall combat and traversal prowess as you progress through the story. And lastly, you have the suits and gadget screens that will allow you to tinker with how your Spider-man looks and the special equipment you want to specialise in for the entirety of the game. Most of this gear can be improved by completing the city-wide tasks that provide you with tokens relevant to the assignment.

The story unfolds after you have put away a long time enemy, Wilson Fisk, who promises that one day, soon, Spider-man will regret interfering in his work. He pays no heed to the threat and continues his life as ordinary, but as a genuine dramatic play, things begin to spiral into chaos around him.

The campaign is still a bit of a snore and occasionally long queue times and matchmaking, and a handful of forgettable game modes give the multiplayer a couple of caveats, but highlights like Capital Supremacy make it stand out, and the progression system is fair and rewarding.  It's not very difficult to queue up for the main modes like Capital Supremacy and Galactic Assault, especially on Ps4, but smaller modes like Hero Showdown and Hero Star Fighters can take a few minutes of waiting before you can enjoy them. Then there are the even less popular modes like the capture based jet pack, Cargo, or Blast which is just team deathmatch. Those are often complete dead zones with no players. Almost since the beginning, Star Wars has been a story of redemption from Darkness, So in an ironic sort of way, Battlefront 2 is a better Star Wars game because of its initial fall to the Dark side and subsequent journey back to the Light. After over two years of updates and changes, EA and Dice have redeemed this gorgeous shooter and turned into one of the best multiplayer adaptations of the Star Wars universe to date, Taking an all Battlefront to now has to offer at once is honestly a bit overwhelming. Setting aside the overly safe, short and disappointing single-player story, there's a wealth of wave based cooperative maps and a litany of online competitive multiplayer modes. Most of them play wonderfully and they all use that classic Star Wars look and feel on an unrivaled scale

The original Battlefront 1 and 2 that came out years ago (early 2000s) had the same type of gameplay, but the new Battlefront 1 and 2 were made by EA, and that's where the problems begin.  For parents: What is not listed on the box is EA's toxic behavior of putting loot boxes (unregulated gambling) and pay to win tactics (paid upgrades for the best gear and playable characters such as jedi and sith) into the game

 So, unbeknownst to you parents out there, your child or teenager is being exposed to unregulated gambling in their videogame if they get a hold of your money, and being tempted to purchase their favorite characters from StarWars to play as in the game. The game does not force them to pay any additional charges, but they will have to spend hours playing the game just to be able to play as Luke, Vader, or other popular StarWars characters due to how EA uses this 'grind' to tempt many players to cheat ahead by buying the characters instead. Unfortunately this is also present in games such as Overwatch and Fortnite. Please be advised and monitor your child's gameplay experience

 There are different game modes that have no guide or tutorial in them all bunched up in on 40 player game mode. No way to chose what map you want or which unique mode to play. The menus are glitchy and hard to manage. There is no real player customization if you wanted to make your online trooper look different from the rest

The game is obviously designed so that every player will be forced to play the online multiplayer for any real, satisfying experience, and thus will be forced to either spend countless hours grinding or pay for loot boxes.   Overall I'm glad I bought it, especially now that EA has gotten rid of a lot of the pay-to-play stuff. If you love Star Wars games, you'll definitely enjoy this for at least the single player campaign.

 You really need a fast, solid internet connection to play this one, or you will have some lag and glitches. The story campaign was maybe the best part, and if nothing else it's a good practice for playing online--although you won't get most of the weapons and abilities available in it until you play a LOT of multiplayer.  Overall I'm glad I bought it, especially now that EA has gotten rid of a lot of the pay-to-play stuff. If you love Star Wars games, you'll definitely enjoy this for at least the single player campaign

Fun for a little while

 It’s a mix between shootouts, lightsaber fighting and vehicular combat including space battles. My favorite multiplayer mode is Heroes vs Villains which puts Light Side heroes up against the Dark Side villains from all three trilogies. This mode has a mix between lightsaber code quarter and long range gun fights.  GRAPHICS 8/10 The graphics are very good
