Sony ICF-C1PJ vs Travelwey Digital Travel

Read instructions and got it going. I like the fact that the clock set up automatically, didn't have to do anything to set up manually, also tested the projection on the ceiling and across the wall opposite of the other side, it looks GREAT!! now when I roll over on my bed in shear darkness in my room all I have to do is slightly crack my eyes open and see what time it is "Love It". The look that it gives my room is AWESOME!! beautifully designed very well crafted product. The nature sounds are good but I would have to turn it up all the way to volume #20 to actually hear the sound effects, that I wasn't too happy about still sounded great

This travel alarm had a very low price. Yet the product is very attractive and has clean design lines. The controls are very easy-to-use. I purchased this without shopping around

+ Shape is elegant, a small 10 x 10 x 10 cm cube, projector knob on left side increasing effective width to 11.5 cm. Black on all sides except the left and right, which are silver. + USB port on lower left side to recharge smart phone

(I haven't used it for travel yet.) The clock is very nicely designed and easy to use. When switched to "off" and with the lid shut, pressing the light button won't do anything, so you can put it in your luggage or your pocket without the battery wearing down. Then when you switch it "on" again, it's already showing the right time

There is a projector on the side that can swivel 180º with adjustable focus, allowing you to view the time on your wall or ceiling. The Sony is one of the few models we tested that has both AM and FM radio frequencies. Additionally, the clock automatically sets the date and time when plugged in, and you only have to adjust your time zone to get an accurate time reading, making it the easiest-to-use model yet. There are two alarms that can be set to go off on weekdays, weekends, or both, and this is clearly designated on the LED screen, so you always know you have an alarm ready for what you need

Moreover, the alarm volume and tone are both fixed, and it lacks the memory for more than one alarm at a time. While that might seem too simplistic, it is just what those traveling light need and no more.

Wanted red or orange. Will be putting a red film over the face to try to remedy that issue. Could turn the display all the way off, but that is not what I want to do. Even the dimmest setting creates too much glow for me

Great light that goes off. Automatically loud alarm is it is it easy & toturn off. It does what it’s supposed to do. It keeps time
