I ended up purchasing the Sole F80 after making the tough decision to cut my losses and get rid of the less-than-one-year-old Horizon treadmill and could not be happier with it (the Sole is clearly a MUCH better quality machine, requires less maintenance in terms of lubing the tread deck, etc. cannot say enough good things about it). Depending on where you’re going to keep it, make sure you have the right height clearance. Mine is in the basement, so I needed to make sure the “step up” height wasn’t too high that’s I’d be hitting my head on the ceiling. Also think about who’s below you and hearing the stomp - if you’re going to put it upstairs.

This was the worst treadmill I have ever owned. I personally would recommend a less expensive treadmill that does not require Wi-Fi to run if it gets disconnected from Wi-Fi it stops as you’re in the middle of the run. But my treadmill came With a defective part which bow flex didn’t seem to know much about their machine and how to fix it so they had to come out multiple times for to even be running because when I first got it the belt would just start running on its own and go extremely fast it was extremely dangerous and I am lucky that I didn’t seriously hurt myself. It suddenly stopped working and I had technicians come out to fix it it’s running now but the belt and motor still grind and this is a very expensive machine I expect it to work perfectly for a brand-new $2000 treadmill! Bow flex treadmill I would recommend not to use I recommend pro-form never had a problem with any of their machines and they’re cheaper! Also I i’m returning the treadmill and they only gave me a partial refund for a defective item that wasn’t my fault

I need something to handle a long hard run/pounding. My wife wants something quiet that can handle her stomping for over an hour along with her need to change the incline and speed every 2 minutes. We tried treads at Sears and local smaller stores. Our requirements would cost another $500 to $1000 more than the comparable Sole and wouldn't get near the Sole warranty

I would avoid purchasing if I were you…if it doesn’t work it will be collecting dust for months while you wait for the $3k you spend on a hunk of junk to be returned.
