 It was well made and comfortable but super bulky. The Sandbox was surprisingly disappointing. It was my favorite design of the options and had multiple colors/patterns. That said, the padding was bare minimum, actually the worst out of all helmets

Comfortable, cool, and lightweight

We weighed the previous Vantage in a size Medium at 493 grams. We weighed the new Vantage at 479 grams. Smith apparently managed to improve the protection of the Vantage and reduce weight. This isn’t the lightest helmet on the market, but it’s light enough that I don’t care if there is something even lighter, if it doesn’t have the features of the Vantage

According to the Koroyd website, Koroyd consistently and efficiently absorbs energy. When you crash, the material’s cores crush in a “completely controlled manner, decelerating the energy from the impact and reducing the final trauma levels.”

I bought this helmet at the same time I had purchased my Smith io7 ski goggles. Together they work wonderfully. I bought the helmet to ensure I got the best protection I could possibly buy for when I am on the slope. This helmet does not disappoint

 Checked the measurements on the box and it should've fit. Had to come back and order larger size. That one fits. If you can, I'd try this helmet in a store first if possible, to save yourself time having to return and order a different size
