So it will fit your face very well, and if you're not necessarily a large fit, you're also still going to get that really great peripheral vision out of these, so don't be thrown off by that. That being said, this is a little bit more of a night lens than it is a day lens, but you could definitely wear it both, especially just to keep the snow out of your face. But that being said as well, if you're going to choose a different pair of goggles, or a different version of the same goggle, just based on the color of the frame and the strap, you might want to consider the fact that the lens color is probably changing as well, so different goggles are going to be better for different riding, pretty much based on the lens

 But for everyday use, you know, this rose copper lens, you can use it at night. It will be a little bit darker, but it's kind of an all-encompassing lens that we use. Right. You know, for someone who's just maybe getting into skiing or snowboarding and you're kind of a little bit more conscious on what products you buy because of the price points, you know, jumping into snow sports tends to be kind of expensive

 What that does is it adheres to any kind of anti-fog. Okay. So, you know, you're not gonna have, this is a cylindrical lens here so it's tapered from side to side. You know, as you step up in price point and more tech, you'll have better anti-fog stories

 Cool colorways. Of course cool colorways. You can get this thing in two different options. You can get a mirrored lens at $60 or our RC 36 lens at 40 bucks, and an RC 36 simply just means it's a rose copper lens and the VLT is 36

 Xlmtb goggle! Thank you guys for watching the review. Um definitely suggest you check these things out if you're in the market. For some new goggles appreciate you watching and we hope to see out on the trails 

 But they've got everything from chromapop to kind of your base level, clear lens and that will sort of bring the price of the goggle down. I think they start around 55 and go up to 85 if you want to go with a mirrored chromapop lens um. In our opinion, if you're, if you're gon na spend the money - and you have it in your budget, chromapop is the way to go. It is definitely a better picture

 So here are the goggles, as i said they fit well inside. Obviously it's a smith helmet we've been running these goggles with a number of different helmets just to make sure that they fit and work well. They do, but when you go to put them on right like and you want to make that adjustment, as you can see normally, if you had an outrigger, you could kind of make those adjustments easily right. Now you kind of have to find a spot or pull the strap and get it out to get them settled into your place

Smith Squad XL Chromapop Goggles Reviewed

Solid, affordable, comfortable goggle with bonus lens. Can't go wrong. I wouldn't do the Chromapop Everyday Green lenses again though—the exterior may be green mirror, but looking through them it has a very strong magenta color cast which your brain compensates for and then everything looks green when you take them off. I much prefer a more neutral color
