 My child's head measurement is 53cm and this helmet provided plenty of room--but why are the chin straps so long? The Smith Zoom Jr (purchased for another child of similar size) includes a soft, comfy chin strap cover and the clip is high to the side, near the ear. We are returning this.

5 yr old has a 49cm head, but this seems WAY to big for him. I am debating a return as I know he will fit it eventually, but disappointed in sizing. Maybe with a thick hat.
