I don't wear them as my weekend-working-in-the-yard or car washing underwear. That's what my old FOTL's are for. Next, wash COLD and don't wash with other rough fabrics like 4 pair of Levi's and the jean vest with the 25 zippers. Cold with other like fabrics

Either they didn't feel right next to my skin or they were just too hot. (4) They must keep their shape and wear well over time. The winners all do that. The honorable mentions all do that except for the Tommy John Cotton and Izod Lacoste Cotton Modal which tended to wear quickly

If your muscles are toned they will rise and hang. Durability to be determined but don’t have the confidence there either. Keep your instincts and move forward.

Too small. Too snug. Shorter on the torso and too snug in the junk area. Why the shrinkage of real estate Smartwool? I've worn SW for years, and now you get skinny jeans fit?

I am fairly heavyset and normally run 38-40 waist and xxl sized shirts. I ordered xl in these shorts hoping for a second skin fit but they are actually a little loose. Loose enough that I think I could have gone with a large. For the price I expect the sizes to be a little more accurate

I purchased one pair of these to see if they would serve the same purpose and for the most part, they do. The waist band is larger, which isn't an issue, but unlike the previous model that had a flat seam along the bottom of waistband, there are a couple of vertical flat seams in the waistband that could be a problem if you load weight along this area. No complaints other that that, great pair that is comfortable.

Love Tommy Johns second skin! Feel great on your privates ! Love the 8 inch boxer briefs do not ride up or bunch all over ! Very very little adjusting per day ! These are quality underwear wash in gentle cycle cold water and dry light! They will not last years. Because of the modal material but your paying for comfort! Not your ordinary FTL Brands ! They are not cheap but again they feel great look great and good colors to choose from ! Customer service is excellent! After wearing these you won’t ever go back to those loose fitting boxers that go all over ! Hope this helps if your debate to spend $36 on a pair of quality underwear! Oh look for the 20 percent sales that helps a lot ! Or buy the 3 pack … been wearing TJ’s for over 5 years love how they change the colors or styles but the second skins are my favorites and I bought over 90 pairs of these quality boxer briefs in the last 4 years ! Thanks for reading! Only wish they came in a much better package then the dirty plastic bags they use cheap ! When you pay this much at least keep the ziplock bags you use to have liked much better then throwing 7 pairs in a bag in the mail … just a thought otherwise no other complaints!

I am a six foot, six inch guy who goes on lots of back country adventures. I purchased these to explore moving from synthetic clothing to natural fibers. After a summer backpacking trip in the Colorado wilderness and a rafting trip down the Grand Canyon, I am very impressed with these boxers. Smartwool definitely lived up to their sterling reputation with these boxers

Do be aware that since the fabric is very thin, when the boxer starts 'falling apart,' they fall apart quickly. It appears that the failure mode is always at the stitching of the fabric. Not surprising, or unexpected, due to the thin fabric. The only major detractor is the price

These are completely straight cut. No contouring what so ever, which means zero support and not much comfort.

Great feel, fit but expensive---- save the money on the packaging over kill, and lower the price, i will buy again

Unfortunately that’s not the case, even though I’ve had great success wearing their socks for years now but I digress. 50 dollars almost feels like highway robbery at this point I’m about 95% sure I could spend 50 dollars on value packs of underwear today and never have to buy underwear again in my life. If you’re considering buying this you better be rich, or never spend 50 bucks on this pair of underwear.

Purchased black and white underwear. The black are very good - the white poor - After first wash turned yellow and not as stretchy as the black. When I complained they did the usual - 15% discount on a new purchase - given the high pricing that means they give you nothing! I used the credit for more white and same issue 0 turned yellow! Not worth the high price - I notice the advertising on FOX has disappeared - I am thinking this is a one hit wonder - made a hit made some money now disappeared in part since they have few repeat customers. Do NOT buy their products - see the other reviews and overall rating - really bad
