we're about average, maybe a touch above average at 92% So I think it could have done much better because of its power if the floor head wasn't design...

We live in an apartment and have a Roomba, but wanted a small stick vacuum to supplement for edges and to suck up dust above the floor. We bought this one because it had a HEPA filter and was not cordless, and it seemed to have decent suction. These things are hard to find for some reason, but this vacuum has everything we wanted, and it's been working for us for about a year now. I love that the cord is extra long and that there are several attachments

Also, I would not recommend a battery operated option - it’s difficult to clean your whole house without recharging.

I can only assume all the positive reviews are paid for, were written before opening the box, or by folks who have no actual dirt to pick up. This glorified broom is only good for making noise and scattering debris. It can't pick up pet hair or anything else off a bare floor -- I have to herd the debris into the machine and hope it picks half of it up. Useless without the floor piece as it appears to rely on the beater bar pitching debris towards the uptake with the assumption that some of it will actually end up in the canister

The vacuum is kind of loud, but still beats another stick vac I had. That one threw debris out of the air vents and had little suction. This VonHaus vacuum picks up well and leaves the air smelling clean.
