Shark Rocket Complete with DuoClean HV380 vs Shark Rocket Ultra-Light

What I love: The suction is amazing. I have hard wood floors through out, with large area rugs in most rooms. You are able to easily switch from bare floors to carpet performance right on the handle, and both modes pick up so much! My old bissel always left tiny sand/crumbs behind on the wood floors, so this was such an improvement. I also love how easy it is to maneuver

The suction was very good, and the while I thought the smaller head on the floor cleaner might be a disadvantage, it was great for going under furniture AND kitchen toe kicks, which my bigger vac couldn't do. It also allows for going between the legs on kitchen chairs, rather than having to move them to clean under them. Cool!

Messy. I do like that it can lay down and vacuum under the beds though. So only 3 stars because of the problem trying to untangle the hair from the roller. Oh, also, be nice if the vacuum would stand up, it will when you detach the hand part, otherwise you have to lay it down

It's great in every way. It's got fantastic suction and my floors felt clean the first two times I used it. It picked up a TON of stuff out of my gross carpets and I was finally feeling good about them. I'd been very diligent about cleaning my hair out of the roller and making sure the motor is free of hair so it doesn't fry and I'm excited because I think THIS IS THE ONE TRUE VACUUM

vacuum was top-heavy for me and difficult to use does not stand alone and had a hard time controlling it talking to other people it is great for younger people but not for the elderly

I’m a very fit person and I can’t vacuum very long before discomfort sets in. Unless you’re over 6 foot tall and extremely strong, I wouldn’t recommend this vacuum

Even though the suction is strong, it still only does an average job at vacuuming. Still felt stuff on the ground after vacuuming. Wish i could have talked my husband into the light cordless dyson stick vacuum. I have used one in years past, but my husband said that the batteries on those give out after a short time

The Shark Rocket Ultra-Light is the best vacuum we've tested for apartments with mostly carpeted floors. This corded stick vacuum performs well on low and high-pile carpet, as it easily clears away most pet hair as well as larger debris, though you might need to make an extra pass to fully clear away finer material that's been worked into carpet fibers. There's no significant loss in suction performance as its dustbin fills up, so you shouldn't need to empty it at the end of every single cleaning session.

I should have gone with the dyson cordless, for me, it's worth the extra $$ to be able to quickly grab it use it and put it back without having to wrestle with a cord. Also, the shark is heavy and awkward. It does however work well and mount to the wall nicely to keep it out of the way. Next up for me, dyson cordless

This is so light weight that it is a joy to use it. It has excellent suction on both speeds. The first speed which is for bare floors and scatter rugs is too much suction for my rugs in the kitchen so I can only push it forward or it will suck the rug up. On my carpeting it is a breeze and the long cord is so convenient because I don't have to keep changing sockets

I've only had a chance to use this once but it worked great. I just replaced carpet so I wanted to replace our old upright with something better but reasonably priced. The Shark fit the bill. It is extremely lightweight and highly maneuverable

.for the price if it only lasts until the 5 year warranty runs out I will be happy, I've spent a whole lot more on units that only had a fraction of the cleaning power that this baby holds. I feel I got a really great value for the price
