I would certainly get the LG over the WandVac. It has many advantages including a better filter setup, a larger bin, far better power numbers, a real cyclonic setup, and so forth. For example, the airflow at the head of the Shark is well below average and around a third of what it is on the LG. Most cordless vacuum cleaners can hang with corded machines in suction and airflow, but the Shark WandVac is definitely not one of those

Hello Sir or Madam. I have some difficulties with my Shark Wandvac. It goes for only 10 seconds and stop. It does not clean well

If you only need a cordless vacuum for spot-cleaning pet hair, the Shark ION W1 WANDVAC is a good choice. This compact vacuum does a fantastic job sucking up pet hair on bare floors and low and high-pile carpet. It also does a decent job cleaning pet hair from fabric-lined surfaces with its included upholstery tool, though suction performance drops noticeably as its small dustbin fills up.

The motor is surprisingly powerful relative to the vac's size and more than up to the task of what this seems to be designed for. It does a decent job of picking up debris from car interiors but a more powerful vac will be required to thoroughly remove ground in debris. Note that this is not a wet vac. I read an Amazon review that said this was loud

Unique for a handheld vacuum of this type, it has an onboard HEPA filter that helps it trap fine particulates as you clean, which is great if you have allergies. Since the filter is washable and shouldn't need to be replaced as long as it's cleaned according to manufacturer recommendations, recurring costs aren't a major concern. It also feels well-built and has an easy-to-maintain design.

Easy to empty the dirt-cup into the waste-basket with the touch of a button. I like this unit a lot. It's also gotten duty around the dining room table, the upholstered chairs that the grand-kids sat on, and sucking up crud on our various throw-rugs. Wouldn”t trade it for any of its competitors; none of them are as light-weight, storable, and easy to use

This worked on small things I wanted to tidy up around the house, but the suction is not great and really didn't touch any pet hair from any surface I tried. I even took before/after pictures of my car, where the white Husky hair stands out against my charcoal grey upholstery, but the pictures looked identical. The attachments further reduce the suction. I was only able to work on my passenger seat (maybe 8 minutes run time) and the battery died

I bought this with great expectation but was disappointed. The suction is half of its predecessor. The garbage space is also much smaller that the previous Shark. Overall I would not buy this product

Vacuums fairly well with poor charge-power time & no alternative source of power. Power lasts approximately 3mins Very disappointing

I like the sleek design, which makes it easy to use for windowsills. It picks up dust and hair very well and compared to lots of other hand held vacuums had a pretty good suction. I just haven't found a lightweight hand held vacuum that gives super strong suction, including this one. I read lots of reviews and made quite a study of it

this is a handy vacuum, works efficiently, has good suction, and is very easy to use. The rose gold look also is impressive. Its ease of use works perfect especially since our toddler keeps making mess and we need to cleanup constantly.

I find it convenient for vacuum-dusting all kinds of things, including furniture, various air vents, the vents under my fridge and freezer, etc. I love how light weight and maneuverable it is, and that I don't have to drag my big vacuum cleaner around to dust these things, anymore. It's nice to be able to dust by capturing the dust, instead of spreading it around, as happens with manual dusting, even Swiffering.

I also have to balance that with how much it will be used. I was willing to pay the $250 for the top of the line in this category (although I didn't want to pay that much), if it met certain criteria. Some of these criteria are not shared by everyone. I live in a smallish condo- I don't have tons of space for everything I could want and certainly not out on the counters

It was so clogged that it shut down so it wouldn't burn out. Clean the filter monthly. Works like a champ now - my apologies to the Shark team.
