superior comfort & ride stability

 Not overweight at all, but cycling is usually tough for guys my size. Pro fitment helps using a factory saddle, but after longer racing rides or tour events, I realized that I needed a change. I was super skeptical about spending this kind of cash on an ergonomic saddle and x2 for my trek road bike and my ktm gravel bike. However, if I could give this saddle 6 star rating, I would

Best saddle for comfort, I find I do not "slide forward" while riding this saddle, even in the aeros. If your not sure you want to shell out this kind of coin you can do what I did, buy a Selle TRK model that's about $70 to see if this saddle will be a long term fit for you then move up to the PRO.

 The saddle is expensive and a little on the heavy side, so buy it if you value a saddle which is really good to sit on. Be aware Selle SMP has a huge range of saddles with different width and from no to thick padding, so you may need an other saddle from their range.

 It is the most comfortable road race saddle I own. I can compare to Fizik Antares, Specialized Romin and Brooks Professional. They are all very good saddles, but this is just a little bit better to sit on. And a saddle clad in real leather looks better than the microtex on other contenporary saddles

 Buy a correctly sized saddle. All the good saddle companies give the width specs for the different saddles they make. I suffered from riding narrow saddle issues for 20 years before I figured I have wide sit bones. Now I know! SMP Pro saddles are worth every penny! Buy quality bib shorts and ride all day

The 611 Ergowave® CrMo complements the Ergowave® success series and impresses with its very good value for money. The new 611 Ergowave® CrMo is offered with CrMo struts and without the well-known SQlab active technology. The convincing ERGOWAVE® shape and the raised rear ensure the perfect grip to the back and optimal pressure distribution down to the deep structures of the body, which significantly improves the power transmission to the pedal. The pressure relief, especially for longer ascents in the terrain, the saddle nose was used in the 611 compared to the 612 approx. 4 mm wide, but just as flat and designed with the largest possible contact surface.  It has a similar "active "technology and the correct width for my sit bones. Seats are very personal for everyone and this one works for me.

After buying 3 seats for my fat tire Ebike, I decided to spend a little more and get this seat.
