 Was out hiking up and down the river sight-fishing all day and used the pack to bring along a dry coat, socks, food, maps, ect. Everything stayed perfectly dry the whole 5 days. Also used the large capacity to my advantage on the plane for it is acceptable size for a carry-on. I would recommend this bag for anyone considering a waterproof fishing pack!

Favorite Fishing Backpack

 It does have a little closure to help keep keep the pack tight to your own. If you're doing any activity, you can bring this around and this little kind of keep it snug up against. You know everything is adjustable on this thing, so I would obviously adjust this strap here. but um, really comfortable

 Open it up. It's got a divider, a bunch of pockets in there, any pockets on the sides, and then both of them have this like exterior pocket that the flap still kind of covers this diversity. Don't worry about the water getting in there when it's closed and that's actually sealed from this other compartment. So if you have like liquids in there that explode, they're not going to presumably get into this other compartment with your laptop

 So to get can I get a size difference. you know this guy here and up against it so it gives you a few more inches of yourself. Either way, again, if you have a larger run a laptop you want to carry with you, go with the large. Other than that, they are both fairly ungentle

in the begining we noticed how uncomfortable the backpack straps are, behing your neck/head area, it continuosly grabs and hangs on your skin. This is due to the "handle" built out of the backpack straps which instead of seperating, unite instead.

Then the WAIST-STRAP, continuosly slipped-OFF the backpack, it seems there its a factory-mistake (yet another).

I would say you should get the 30L travel backpack! I used the 30L EDB for my last semester in college but I was lucky because I never had to carry any books or papers with me but now that I have the 45L Travel backpack I probably would've used that more TBH. Don't get me wrong, I love the EDB but if you're going to be carrying some bigger stuff and you want more room or even space for some files the travel backpack is going to be your best bet

I’ve been thinking about it since it came out. I am happy with my EDB30L but I don’t use the flexfolds too much - i find them just limiting me. 

Anybody has both of these and could do a comparison?

I bought this backpack back in October of 2019. WIth very minimal use just going to and from work, opening it twice in the morning to load/unload and then in the evening to unload it, the main zipper for the front compartment failed on the corner. Now the bag will not fully close on one side.  Overall the bag appears well made and very thought out, however the durability of a zipper is a major failure point to use the bag properly ongoing

I really can't write enough good things about my new backpack. I received it a few days ago and I wanted to wait to write a review because it was too good to be true. The backpack is top notch! There's tons of little compartments, which makes packing easy, it has a shoe bag, laundry bag, and a little packing cube. I had issues finding a backpack that would fit my 15" MacBook Pro and this one has a compartment for it where it will fit perfectly, AND another 13" MacBook Pro
