the scabbard is nice. And it is big knife. A little more dull than I was expecting from other reviews, but I want that surgical sharp edge (I know, not needed for a hack & slash blade), still solidly built for the price

Had this Knife almost (1) year. Have not used it for any outdoor/ bush/ camping activities yet so can't rate on that. Just been sitting in my Diving Backpack and considering to use it in my Diving activities but don't know if the steel will hold up (won't rust). At 1st glance, the knife feels like it's a Young Boy's knife (still feel that way)

Exchange, align, sharpen, accessorize, smooth. Now, as opposed to out-of-the-box, I'll quote Paul Hogan: "That's a knife." There was no lot# or production code I could recognize on the knives or their packaging.

Now the knife. I bought this for self defense, if ever needed it'll do the job intended. It doesn't come very sharp and in my opinion doesn't sharpen very well. Handle feels nice in the hand for intended purpose

The handle isn't horrible but could be more comfy when gripping the knife tightly. The grip area is my only minor complaint so far. Otherwise this knife is well worth what I paid for it IMO.

The blade is dull so get yourself a good sharpening stone to hone the blade. For the price, it's a good knife but the sheath is still very important.

I really dislike the cheap, hard plastic sheath. No way I would carry this in that hunk of plastic.

This knife is nice, sturdy and everything it says it is. The problem I have is the sheath, I dont like these sheaths and this one makes the knife stick way out to catch on things so easy if I brush up against them. I will see if I can do some magic with para-cord to tie the bottom of the sheath around my leg so it doesn't stick out/flop around so bad I dont even want to wear it.

I love the sheath. The retention is perfect. The knife stays firmly in place and it's quick and easy to deploy. Doesn't feel stuck like some Schrades do with similar sheaths

The only reason I gave it a 4 is because I thought the handle would have a little more texture similar to two other Schrade knives I have. It has a smoother grip and the handle is a little bigger for my hand size. Otherwise everything else about this is great. Not super sharp, but sharp enough for most things for sure

always a plus. The handle is the most comfortable design ive ever held, even though it could be longer by a half an inch. (I have large hands) The rubberized handle is very grippy, and a joy to work with. At 30 bucks its a true bargain ! SOG ! if youre listening, please take this exact design and enlarge it to a 5 and a half or 6 inch blade, with the handle expanded to 5 or 5 and a half inches
