Matching dryer with our new washer, and like the washer, this seems to be a reliable and great-quality powerhouse with good capacity. Replaced an LG side-loader that even had a little warranty time left on it and outclassed it in one-load drying ability on exactly the same duct in the same (clean) condition. Abt was great throughout the process; got our business when they had the model we wanted when everybody else was telling us it'd be a month-or- longer wait for restock.

I wouldn't know about efficiency, but what gives it zero stars is a STUPID 30-second chime at finishing that you can't turn OFF! Running this near bedtime is out of the question, and I am seriously debating whether I want to risk breaking something unintentionally by going on a hand-tool hunt for this thing's speaker--to break that INTENTIONALLY

 If you value your sanity, do not buy this--or at least make sure your laundry room is well separate from your living space. Like, the opposite side of a 4 bedroom house, separate.
