Very nice! I don't have much money either, so that's why I got a Tecware Phantom, tenkeyless as well!

I picked my Royal Kludge RK100 up for $80, it's usually $90 but there was a coupon that popped up on amazon. For $80, I couldn't be *too* upset about the lack of dissasembly options and the raised LEDs, but had I known that was the situation, I likely would have just gotten a Keychron K4 instead for a little bit more.

Cable, though thick and braided, is not removable. Note: some others have commented on significant input lag from this keyboard. I have not experienced this personally, but also have no way of measuring input lag on my end, so who knows. RECOMMENDATIONS: Add o-rings immediately to all the keycaps to soften the bottoming-out of the keys (much nicer feel this way) and the *ping* sound, and make sure the o-rings you get are transparent so they don't block out the LEDs (given, even transparent o-rings will be a bit visible through the keycaps when installed - but it's still worth doing for the upgraded feel and toned down sound)

Other than the outrageously horrible examples I provided above the rest of the layout is all but standard and is simple to use.

My previous board was a Tecware Phantom 87 with red switches, but my goodness the build quality on this Ducky is far superior. Typing with tactile brown switches for school is so much more satisfying than with reds.

So the back plate is made out of plastic with minimal flex, and the keycaps don't experience a lot of wobbling, except for the space bar and the shift...

TL DR; This kb punches well above it's a weight (assuming I don't have any qc problems) if you don't mind spending a few bucks on keycaps if you care about that kind of thing. Between build and quality at least as good if not better than a few others I've checked out at this price range (velocifire, aukey and some others microcenter carries) but this feels quite a bit better to type on. I'd still like to try the keychron but honestly no complaints with this KB for $45.

Feels solid, pretty heavy. This is one of the only keyboard on Amazon with Brown switches, and I believe the only RGB one, at this price range. Blue is so common but the Browns are either non-existent or way more expensive (like 35 vs 55). At least when I was buying this

Hey guys, I'm new to mechanical keyboards. I purchased around a year ago the Royal Kludge RK61 for a cheap price and I'm looking to replace it for a keyboard with better quality, the RK61 has quite the horrible layout for developers in my opinion and wobbly keycaps which are my main issues. I am a software developer so I'm mainly looking for a keyboard that is good for typing, don't really care about gaming, or RGB colors and stuff like that.

The angle of this keyboard is perfect and common for keyboards, it's where it needs to be without popping out the feet. (Exact same feet on the GMMK1) The angle of the keyboard is exactly why I choose the Techware Phantom over the GMMK1, even thou the GMMK1 doesn't have the pinging issue. Oddly, the GMMK1 doesn't have padding between the plate and the PCB while the Tecware Phantom does. These effects sound a bit, better for the Tecware Phantom

Personally, looking back I would recommend that people thinking about buying this spend a few more bucks and get one of the bigger names out there. I’m currently using a HyperX Alloy Origins wired keyboard and I love it. This keyboard is fine as a starter or something like that, but if you spend an extra 15-25 dollars you can get a (much) better quality keyboard that will likely last you for many years to come.

Not a bad little keyboard for the money but also not super impressed. My current daily driver is a Corsair K70 with Cherry MX Speed Switches (Linear Gray Switches). Its been my go to keyboard for about 2 years now. I wanted a more compact keyboard for my HOTAS setup to replace my Z88 and didn't want to drop a ton of money but after owning such high quality keyboards, my standards are pretty high

I just bought my first mechanical keyboard Royal Kludge RK61 RGB and it's great especially for it price. However in wireless mode via Bluetooth backlight turns off after 60 seconds. I already searched internet a lot for a solution and it seems like there is no solution for this stupid issue. I just can't understand why they made such a good product with full RGB customization and decided to turn lightnings off after minute and don't give customers chance to disable or change that setting

Part 1 Pros: Price: only $40 keyboard I can find with red switches 87 key design: personal preference, but I like a full 16.5” of mouse space to play fps's Lights: it's real pretty, there are 18 different pre-set LED modes with 9 different LED color options. It's free, super easy to use (easier than the Corsair software IMO) and now my keyboard looks awesome The switches: only red's I can find at this price range

4ghz receiver works fine for the price and latency is fine. Bluetooth and wired modes work fine. Really my biggest gripe is that the manual doesn't properly explain how the keyboard is laid out well, which is pretty essential on any board smaller than 65%, which is why I docked a star. Still recommend the board, but I really hope the manual and documentation can get an improvement in the future
