I run my dashcam on the highest resolution on both cameras, and the highest bitrate on both cameras, sectioned off into 1 minute clips, both front in rear. When trying to keep the dash cam up and out of my view, the only good spot I could mount the camera also happened to be right behind my rear view mirror. While this doesn't completely limit my ability to adjust the rear view mirror, if the unit were 1-2mm thinner then it would be a non-issue. Small complaint for an otherwise great dash cam for the price.
