It does very well in powder and has a very lofty feel on pow days. The board is very responsive to quick turns and has the proper flex for a speedy decent off the slopes. In Colorado we see a fair amount of powder and this board handles it very well with the set back stance. I am a directional rider and don’t find myself riding goofy often but I can assure you the tail does have enough of an angle to not catch when riding that direction
