 Hey everyone, my name is Tim and I work for Blue Tomato in event marketing. Today I've had the chance to test the Riot Snowboards 21-22 Twin Pig and this baby is really a weapon. You can take it all around the mountain. It has an asymmetric shape like the name it says is a twin basically so you can really ride switch with it

 I didn't hit anything too crazy big while I was out at Hood but I'd say the jump I rode the most is probably like 35 feet and it felt totally comfortable on that. I definitely would consider hitting bigger jumps on it and I'd feel confident and comfortable on that snowboard but the cool part with that camber profile having the rocker in the tips is that there's kind of a small play zone where you can get into presses and butters with really minimal effort and then you start to feel the flex of the board kick in so even though it does have that stability it's gonna hang on to rails it's gonna do fine on jumps it's gonna be fun for carving you can still get those presses and butters going with this guy as well. I'm really glad that they added the Twin Pig to the line. I rode the War Pig last year really really enjoyed that snowboard but the Twin Pig is just a little bit softer while still retaining a lot of the features that made the War Pig so unique

 I rode some jumps, rode some rails and I think that it has a very versatile flex for all kinds of park riding. You can still get some presses going with it but it's sturdy enough to hang on if you start to slide outside your binding and kind of lean in onto your nose. The board is actually gonna hang on and not just flex out on you so I thought that was a pleasant surprise. That stability is gonna carry over to jumps and riding outside of the park as well

 I run a size nine and a half and even in the slush I was really trying to see if I could get my toes to drag and it just held on really well so. I had a lot of fun in the park with this guy as well out there riding High Cascades Session One Park. I rode some jumps, rode some rails and I think that it has a very versatile flex for all kinds of park riding. You can still get some presses going with it but it's sturdy enough to hang on if you start to slide outside your binding and kind of lean in onto your nose

 Something that's really freestyle friendly but still stable enough to pretty much do anything that you want but most of all is that it can carve really really well. I was super impressed with how hard you could lay this board over and just try euro carves try crazy heel side carves whether you're in slush or you know on a groomer midwinter I think this board is just gonna carve really really well. For rider in mind I'd say this is probably a better board for intermediate to more advanced riders. It's not super aggressive but it's not the easiest to control either

RIDE TWINPIG SNOWBOARD REVIEW

 It was pretty stable at high speeds, especially for being shorter than I would normally ride. For me and my style of riding, because it felt a little bit stiffer, I actually liked it. I was shocked by how stable it felt at speed. I was expecting to get a lot of chatter and have it kind of be a little bit more squirrely in turns, but definitely pretty stable

 All our reviews are unbiased. All right, hopping on the Ride Twin Pig 2021. This is a board that's meant to be ridden a lot shorter than what you might normally ride. I, for example, normally ride like anywhere from a 157 to a 160

 Because it's a volume shifted board, turn initiation is great, really gets on edge super easy, very easy to turn, holds well. It's definitely good for all-mountain park. It's a little bit soft in the nose for getting kind of powering through the chunder and some of that tracked out stuff, but for groomers, side hits, hitting rollers and stuff like that, and obviously park, this is a great park board. I would recommend this board to early intermediate all the way up through advanced riders, either your park guy or your all-mountain freestyle dude or someone who just wants a good board to kind of ride the whole resort on

 The edge hold was good. The snow was really good today. I was able to get a really solid edge in, lay it down, got my elbow down on a few toe side carves, so I was pretty impressed with that. The tips felt pretty stiff on this thing and I feel like that really helped kind of snap me out of some turns

2021 Ride Twinpig Snowboard Review | Curated

 So you're going to get that load and snap of traditional camber under the foot, but you're going to get that play of rocker out in the tip of the tail. I rode this board at Copper Mountain on a day that was kind of a mix of blue skies, overcast skies. There was slushy snow, chunder snow, icy snow, firm corduroy, crap corduroy, kind of everything in between spring-like conditions. And I rode these with my K2 Indy bindings and my K2 Thraxis boots

 The rocker boards, in my opinion, are always better for buttering, and the Twin Pig does not disappoint with that wider platform. There's a sweet spot right outside the camber zone where it hits that rocker zone so you can leverage your weight out on it and just press into it and swivel and sizzle. There is a little bit of rebound in there, but not a lot. It's not going to kill you
