If you don't want those up there, so the strap safeties they're very thick, very secure feeling I really enjoy these strap safeties. I didn't think at first that I was gon na like strap safety, so I went ahead and ordered the flip-down safeties

 You can get cheaper racks, obviously, but you can also get much more expensive racks a couple of things I wish they would change one. I wish they'd offered black hardware and so that silver, I know rogue offers the black zinc hardware. I think it just looks better than the silver, because when I've just got a black and blue rack, then then I've got silver there. I just aesthetically

If you're wanting to rack weights at the bottom, you don't want a big weight horn sticking up where you're gon na bang your head. So, by doing a 12 inch below and a 6 inch up front, you actually have the ability to use all your weights effectively without balking your head

Quality: -Powder coating is uniform with no flaws or spurs. -Weight of steel is reassuring, there are stamped numbers for the crossbar slots that are difficult to read, but I remedied with rubbing chalk across the surface to highlight the numbers and will use either nail polish or colored tape to mark at a later point. -Crossbars seem to be good quality and had no spurs on the edges or defects

All six of the gourd buckles were missing which meant I couldn't even complete building or test the lat attachment until I received a replacement. Their QC/QA seems to have systemic problems; I ordered a few other items directly from Rep Fitness (FID bench, landmine attachment, weight horns) and I had similar issues (defects/damage/insufficient instructions)

The media could not be loaded. I bought the Rep Power Rack PR-1000 combination with the dip bar and lat pull-down attachments.  PROS:  Very solid/stable cage; no movement when doing wide-grip pull-ups and I feel very safe when doing bench presses with the safety bars and j-cups.  The lat attachment is functional; the action isn't the smoothest but it works (video demonstrating the action attached) and I see it getting a lot of use in the future

 Update buy horns for weights like em on towards lat attachment. Rep bumper plates are legit and price is good. I got 415 and need more and they are handling a beating. We like use front for our workouts and horns for light weights
