 I have noticed a significant amount of difference with my workouts especially the ones I perform after using these, I can actually feel more contractions and burning with the squats, bridges, etc.. and I am sore the next day after, unlike prior I would feel no soreness.

 I start off with the bands to warm up and activate my glutes and with these you really feel the burn very quickly...They are very good bands so far, no stretching out, no ripping, and they seem to stay on and I haven't had any issues with them twisting around

 I find it helpful to mark on my calendar and the band with a sharpie when i expect it to "expire". I noticed in my last purchase and my most-recent purchase, that in a pack of 10, there are at least 3 bands that have been manufactured incorrectly (the bands are cut in an offset pattern or not a smooth straight band as you would expect). This makes them unusable in my experience. You can tell it's "off" when you work out with them (leading to unintended discomfort) and so have to be tossed out which doesn't feel great

Unfortunately, there are not many other mini band alternatives out there that sell in non-variety volume packs (as my preference has been for just blue/heavy bands and would otherwise waste the other resistances)

I've used this product for multiple glute exercises to help my knee health over the past several years. I discovered this brand from my PT. I have purchased the Blue pack 3x and the variety set 1x. They are generally useful and work for their intended purpose, each band lasting about its recommended 20 times / days of regular use before it begins to warp and impact your form (I would be reminded when I start noticing subtle discomfort in my knee which would indicate the band has lost its usual intended stability)

 But there was a really interesting review of some research that looked at over 120 randomized controlled trials with over 6 700 participants and it focused on the effect of using progressive resistance strength training like the use of resistance bands And not surprisingly, the result among these 120 plus studies showed that using resistance tools like these simple resistance bands not only resulted in greater muscle strength, but it translated directly into simple activities like walking or climbing stairs or even standing up from a chair more quickly and more with more stability. And aside from just basic movements, this type of exercise translated into better performance of more complex tasks like preparing a meal or bathing or dressing, and even resulted in less pain for people with osteoarthritis. So aside from all those great benefits identified in those studies, here are some of my opinions as to why I like resistance bands compared to the traditional free weights. Let's take a look

Do Resistance Bands ACTUALLY Work?

 That is the big one and so the reason they like to use this is it's a it's a great way to attack your gluteus medius and kind of those muscles that are on the side of your hips. They're really inexpensive. Generally you can get them for around less than six dollars, just about anywhere you go. Some complaints occasionally we get about the mini bands is that sometimes they do wear out and they could wear out relatively quickly depending on how often you use them and what you use them for

 First of all, for the cost, you can't beat it for three to ten dollars. Pretty much wherever you go you can get one or a few bands in different resistances. Anybody from the most deconditioned person to the highest level athlete can gain some kind of benefit and the muscle groups that it helps strengthen your scapular area or your shoulders and then your hips are going to be the two most important areas to strengthen to help make you feel the way you want to feel when you're going through your day-to-day activities and keep you comfortable and sturdy during your workouts.

 One of the great things about the mini bands is that you can progress your resistance as you get stronger and work through things, so yellow is the easiest. That's typically when we start out and then as you get stronger, we progress you all the way up to black, which is the hardest resistance level. Also, the minibands are great for cueing patients when they're learning to squat properly, making sure that they know where their knees and their legs are in relation to the rest of their body.
