Moreover, the alarm volume and tone are both fixed, and it lacks the memory for more than one alarm at a time. While that might seem too simplistic, it is just what those traveling light need and no more.

That way, whether setting the alarm, or even the time, you just have to move the switch all the way up for lock. There's no trying to make sure the switch is in the middle position and it's not pushed a little too far. If it were pushed a little too far (into the time set position (all the way up)), one would never know it, as there would be nothing to indicate so. It's just a bad design with the switch layout

When switched to "off" and with the lid shut, pressing the light button won't do anything, so you can put it in your luggage or your pocket without the battery wearing down.
