\#1: the keycaps themselves don't appear to be backlit, so only the case of the keyboard glows. It will not help you type in a dark environment. On the other hand, the clear case design looks kinda cool, even if the colors don't animate.

For interesting color schemes, you can look into customizing the color of your keycaps. You may also be interested in keyboards with RGB which can be customizable. I hope this helps.

good quality, fast, keyboard for around ~$130-150? needs to have numpad and be either normal size or big size, non of that mini stuff. Also rgb is a plus, but high quality RGB, not shitty ones that burn out after a few months. I had a steelseries apex 5 which I liked but returned it because after just 4 months many of the RGB lamps were "burned out" and were either barely glowing or not at all. So I would want more quality there

Very ergonomic and comfortable, my only complaint is the spiral pattern included with the Razer Synapse software made me very disoriented. Solid colors are a must if you plan on giving your undivided attention to any game you may be playing.

I am disappointed in the quality of this keyboard. I had high hopes for Razer due to their reputation. Whatever they use to denote the keys is wearing off after only two months of regular use. I reported to Razer and they said this is normal and not covered by the warranty

This is why today I decided to order a new Steelseries Arctis 7 headset and hope the quality is as good, as the keboards'.
